Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: Outside of experiments, SCP-XXXX-1 is kept in a small, plain journal marked "423-2" (SCP-XXXX-2). SCP-XXXX-2 is kept in the Euclid wing of Site-14.
Description: SCP-XXXX-1 is an entity that has no physical form; it appears to exist entirely between forms of media (including books, videocassette tapes, optical video discs, various computer file formats, and [DATA EXPUNGED]).
SCP-XXXX-1 is able to insert itself either as a major or minor character. The details of the character vary from story to story, but it is almost always named "Angela" or something similar.
SCP-XXXX-1 was discovered in the Site-12 library by Janitor T. Silvestris (now Dr. Silvestris) during routine cleaning, and was initially thought to be a second instance of SCP-423. However, during testing involving a "W███████e" comic book, it was discovered to be able to also modify the pictures within the book. After testing with various other objects, including vinyl records and surveillance-camera footage of SCP-███, the O5 Council approved reclassification of "SCP-423-2" and "SCP-423-3" to "SCP-XXXX-1" and "SCP-XXXX-2" respectively on 10/05/20██.
SCP-XXXX-2 is the journal used for containment purposes; it can be used to communicate with SCP-XXXX-1. Unlike SCP-423, SCP-XXXX-1 sometimes generates its own narrative, always with itself as the main character, within SCP-XXXX-2 when it is opened.1
SCP-XXXX-1 has a history of random outbursts (henceforth designated as XXXX-1-Alpha Events) when provoked, causing it to "write" all-caps rants (SCP-XXXX-1-A) containing large amounts of profanity; depending on the circumstances, SCP-XXXX-1-A instances may also contain threats directed towards Foundation personnel, Groups of Interest, and/or other SCP objects.
Incident XXXX-██86: On ██/██/████, SCP-XXXX-1 was in the process of writing a narrative within SCP-XXXX-2 when SCP-██86 breached containment and [DATA EXPUNGED], causing a 3423-1-Alpha Event:
After this incident, SCP-██86 was not detected for █ weeks; according to SCP-XXXX-1, it had been [DATA EXPUNGED]. SCP-XXXX reclassified to Euclid.
