Description: What SCP-XXXX is exactly is unknown. Though most notable is its ability to freeze time for those who come into contact with it.

SCP-XXXX first presented at [REDACTED], when victim [A] appeared to cease existing within the passage of time, remaining still and unbreathing. Security footage shows victim [B] approaching SCP-XXXX and attempting to aid victim [A], freezing upon physical contact with victim [A]. Victims [C-E] followed before first responders arrived on the scene.
Unable to move SCP-XXXX First responders began to secure the perimeter and construct a containment cell around SCP-XXXX.
Day one footage shows victims [E-H] over the course of precisely 42 minutes, gradually losing interest in their construction duties whilst appearing more and more enraptured by SCP-XXXX, eventually, and almost gleefully embracing it. Their distortedly large smiles seemingly immortalized at their moment of succumbence.
Following the incident 5 construction crews were rotated through the facility at intervals of 10 minutes.
All 5 construction crews became afflicted with the same desire to be with SCP-XXXX, and after being denied re-entry on multiple occasions began exhibit violent behaviour and where thusly [DATA_EXPUNGED].
It later became known that any real life depiction of SCP-XXXX causes the same affliction the others faced and those who had seen SCP-XXXX also had to be [DATA_EXPUNGED].

Shortly after being classified as safe, the decision was made to stop real imagery monitoring of SCP-XXXX and to instead a drone would be used to render the shadow cast by SCP-XXXX.
Given time, the waists of SCP-XXXX have drawn together and melded into one, the torso, arms and heads following with the years to come, it’s shadow becoming overtime a craterous spheresque blob atop 16 atrophied legs.

When a heat rise in the containment chamber of SCP-XXXX was recorded, the decision was made to send in a [D class] unit to serve as a reporter, as cameras had been removed from the facility to reduce risk of a leak
