Item #: SCP-?
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-? is to be kept within a
vacuum-sealed humanoid cell. Once every two months SCP-? is to be doused in fire retardant to account for the imperfections of the vacuum chamber. All nearby SCP chambers are to have a readily available fire retardant in the event of a containment breach. Any personnel entering SCP-?'s containment cell are to wear air tight suits, oxygen tanks, and respirators.
Description: SCP-? is a tall humanoid with charred skin and the alchemical symbol for fire carved into its forehead. It has teeth similar to that of the conodonts. These teeth are comprised of whitened steel. When exposed to oxygen SCP-? ignites and the more time SCP-? spends exposed to oxygen its flame increases in temperature. SCP-? has been observed as sentient and in control of its flame during initial containment. SCP-? has also been observed as aggressive during all testing procedures.
Retrieval: SCP-? was found in the Amazon Rainforest after being reported by cattle ranchers stating that it was setting the forest on fire. The foundation subdued and contained SCP-? within twenty-four hours of the report, however, the fires continued.
Prior to proper containment within a vacuum chamber, SCP-? hid in the corner of the cell and its flame was greatly retracted only reaching out approximately 3cm from SCP-?'s body. After twenty-four hours in the cell SCP-? ran toward the observation window and expanded the flame. The sudden change in temperature shattered the observation bay glass. SCP-? then jumped one meter up through the now hole in the wall. SCP-? was quickly recontained by various nearby researchers.

to escape]
Dr. Ambrose: Refrain from allowing it to expose itself to oxygen. Although it isn't
the end of the world
