Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-4173 is allocated excursion from its containment chamber once every day. If SCP-4173 tries to escape containment, 2 F-16 jet fighters are to be deployed for its containment. If SCP-4173 attempts to break/flee from containment, Disciplinary Act 01-7a and Facility Alert 2-0N are to be enacted.
SCP-4173 cannot be in contact with any memetic hazard SCP.
Description:
SCP-4173 is a humanoid reptile measuring 1.73 meters tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds, its wings measures 3 meters long and tail measures 3.50 meters.
The entity is non-hostile to personnel and is has been docile/cooperative with all Foundation personnel and seems averted to all forms of violence.
SCP-4173 can speak in 3 languages; English, French and Portuguese, the entity has the IQ level of 110.
SCP-4173 has demonstrated anomalous strength, agility; SCP-4173 has also shown a remarkable resistance to the compound produced by SCP-106.
As of event [REDACTED], SCP-4173 has requested the use of items which are currently under pension by the O5 Council. As of now, the entity is under consideration for additional benefits and reclassification to thaumiel class as it has helped the recontainment of Euclid/Keter class SCPs.
Discovery:
SCP-4173 it was first founded in an abandoned factory in Campanhã, Porto, Portugal, in 19██.
Class A Amenestics we're given to 15 Civilians, 5 Policemen, and 30 Homeless people. SCP-4173 was brought to Site 19 for study. Upon seeing foundation personnel, SCP-4173 became hostile and killed 15 agents, and tried to flee, it was recaptured by MTF-Lambda 4 (Birdwatchers), in L.A. old factory.
After being successfully subdued, the entity was returned to Site 19, and since then, no further containment breaches were made.
As of writing, SCP-4173 was involved in 17 separate containment breaches, in which the 4173 aided foundation personnel in containment.
After the successful recontainment of SCP-682, SCP-4173 was brought in for questioning.

Dr. Magnus: Do not get aggressive, we're not insulting you 4173, we sawed the security videotapes, and I'm impressed, you helped the Mobile Task Forces to contain 682, but why you didn't flee when you had the opportunity, why staying?
SCP-4173: It's hard to explain, it's true, my first thought was to flee, but I thought better if I leave and that ugly [DATA REDACTED] escapes, the whole world would be in major danger right now.
Dr. Magnus: So thinking the best way of stop 682 was to confront it, why?
SCP-4173: Because I'm not a killer, I don't kill for sport, I kill for defending myself and anyone from any unknown entity's, knowing that's dangerous for me and the others, protecting become my priority.

SCP-4173 may prove useful in the containment of Euclid/Keter threats in the future. It is my recommendation that SCP-4173 undergo further testing and analysis to determine whether or not it is suitable for reclassification as thaumiel. -Dr. Magnus.
SCP-4173 exited the facility before 2100h, and it took with it an unknown object, the 2100h limit passed, no sign of SCP-4173, immediately MTF L-4 (Birdwatchers) was deployed to search and contain SCP-4173.
After a period of 2 hours, MTF Lambda-4 spotted the entity in a clearing; 4173 was in possession of a telescope and appeared to be studying constellations.
MTF Lambda-4 contained the entity without struggle, SCP-4173 was immediately brought in for questioning.

Dr. Magnus: You're now Thaumiel, but if you keep breaking the rules, we will reclassify you to Euclid.
SCP-4173: So I'm just supposed to stare at my walls for the rest of my life?
Dr. Magnus: How about this: If you can maintain good behavior for the next week you will be allowed one excursion to a secluded area of our choosing. You will be under armed guard, and if you try to breach containment, I can guarantee you that you will never see the sky again. If you keep a low profile and do as you're told, however, these excursions may become more frequent. Do we have a deal?"

Dr. Magnus: Yes, SCP-4173.
SCP-4173: Where's my telescope?
Dr. Magnus: Don't worry, we will give it back.
