Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5023 is to be kept in a 5 x 5 feet containment chamber, with a steel gate. No surveillance or direct contact in any way is to be allowed, due to it's anomalous properties.
Description: SCP-5023 is a old 1960s doll, maker unknown. SCP-5023 is normally docile, and not aggressive. Any eye contact, surveillance, or picture of SCP-5023 is to be burned by Class-D personnel. SCP-5023 Anomalous properties enact when SCP-5023 is seen. SCP-5023 will not attack, but instead "curse" the individual (now referred to as SCP-503-1) bad luck. This "bad luck" is very dangerous, as it contains 100% chance of killing SCP-5023-1, within one (1) month. This timeframe can occur in a few minutes, or up to 30 days. The event will happen randomly - a car crash, containment breach, shot by firing squad - completely random. Time of expiration confirmed by Dr. ██████, before his passing 27 days after the inspection. Close inspection seems that the curse seems to not work on SCPs that do not have "bodily functions." [basically meaning SCPs like SCP-173 or SCP-1048 will NOT be affected by this anomaly. SCPs with at least a beating heart are indirectly affected by this creature. If SCP-5023 were to have a containment breach, 5 D-Class personnel are to bring a standard camcorder, along with several weapons. The point is to surround SCP-5023, which will hopefully make it easy to capture, and make the creature "detainable."

Dr. ███ then proceeded to have sudden chest pains, not from SCP-1025. After death autopsy revealed he had sudden cardiac arrest, presumably from the curse SCP-5023 brings out. Also presumed the curse affected Dr. ███ faster, because of his proximity to SCP-5023. SCP-5023 is currently being studied.
