How to contain SCP-4374:
1. Lure it into its cell using a life-size cut-out of any basketball player in the NBA. This can make sure that it is tempted to assault the person who has fouled at least once in a game of Basketball. When SCP-4374 is in its cell, you may close its cell door.

2. D-Class personnel may be used instead of the cut-out, instead. Follow previously said procedures.

Description: SCP-4374 is a [REDACTED] brand Basketball being held at Site-[REDACTED]. It is sentient, as well as hostile. SCP-4374, once around those who have fouled in a Basketball game, will begin to talk to them. SCP-4374 will attempt to persuade said person(s) into playing with SCP-4374. SCP-4374, once in contact with a person's hand, will cut their hands off. It is unknown how this happens, but according to previous reports, the people's hands just "fall off." SCP-4374 has been reported to create another Basketball just like itself. These SCP-4374's are to be designated as SCP-4374-1, SCP-4374-2, and so on.
