Item #: SCP-4182
Object Class: Safe Euclid1
Special Containment Procedures: The five specimens, known as SCP-4182-1 through SCP-4182-5, are to be contained in separate 5" x 5" x 10" glass containers stationed on 4' podiums. 4 RGB LEDs are stationed in the upper right, upper left, bottom right, and bottom left corners of each containment zone to stimulate sunlight. These are all to be turned on for 10 minutes every 12 hours. in a 4 m x 4 m x 3 m airtight reinforced steel containers. There is to be 24 hour surveillance in each of the containment zones. Under no circumstances are two or more specimens allowed to come into contact with each other (unless approved by Dr. ███████). 50 grams of lunar soil are to be provided to each specimen every 12 hours.
Bi-daily disinfections are to occur, supervised by a minimum of two Beta-7 operatives. If no Beta-7 operatives are available at the time, all disinfections will be postponed until two operatives are available. If no Beta-7 operatives are available within two days, two Security Department combatives will assist with the disinfection. The operatives/combatives supervising are to bring each specimen out of their containment zone in 1 m x 1 m x 3 m airtight reinforced steel containers. After the containment zones are clear from disinfectants, the specimens are to be brought back in.
If any of SCP-4182 reproduce, the new specimen is to be terminated as soon as possible and all personnel moved to the nearest breach shelter.
Description: SCP-4182 are lethal bacteria that spread through two ways: physical contact or through the air. No physical contact is allowed with SCP-4182 or the spores that contaminate their containment zones. Entry into one of SCP-4182's containment zones is strictly prohibited unless granted permission by Dr. ███████. If one must enter, it must be for testing purposes only and all personnel must be dressed with heavy decontamination suits. Entry without permission will result in [DATA EXPUNGED]. Opening SCP-4182's glass container is prohibited to all personnel, except for recontainment purposes, under punishment of death. described as humanoid creatures with the basic body form of an average adult male. Rotten flesh cover their bodies and large and yellow-brown tumors protrude from areas containing vital organs, such as the abdominal cavity.
SCP-4182 differ in height, ranging from 1.65 meters to 2.05 meters. Their skin color is mainly yellow-brown with some areas being the color of raw umber. They are all lacking any form of body hair. Their flesh is very durable and takes a considerable amount of force to sever.
All 5 of SCP-4182, except SCP-4182-1, have been observed to move at speeds comparable to the average walking gait of a human. These speeds can range from 3 km/h to 6.5 km/h. Strangely, SCP-4182-1's documented speeds are considerably higher than the rest, ranging from 10 km/h to 20 km/h. Although the reason for these speeds are unknown, it is believed that this is the reason that the others consider it the "alpha" of their pack.
SCP-4182 are normally passive, but become extremely hostile and aggressive once in the vicinity of possible competition. As a result of this condition, in the event of a breach on Area-32, re-containing all of SCP-4182 should be of top priority to avoid mass casualties.
If SCP-4182 does view another organism that could be considered a threat to their survival, such as humans, they will instantly make a loud wail and travel towards the threat. Due to their slow speeds, their target can easily escape, unless trapped2. If SCP-4182 reaches its target, it will proceed to consume them, usually starting with the neck. The spores that SCP-4182 naturally produce assist in the termination of their target by rapidly rotting their internal organs. After an average 37 seconds, the target is presumed deceased (see Addendum: SCP-4182-1).

Test A - 4/19/████
Subject:
D-19028; 27-year-old male; charged with capital murder.
Procedure:
SCP-4182-1 was placed in an alternate containment chamber made for testing purposes. D-19028 was then brought in. SCP-4182-1 was sitting in the upper left corner of the room and turned around at the presence of D-19028. 4182-1 slowly stood up and examined D-19028. After about 12 seconds, 4182-1 charged at D-19028.
Results:
D-19028 was presumed deceased after approximately 34 seconds and was brought out of the containment zone by 2 Beta-7 operatives. Their head had significant physical damage from the neck up. After an autopsy, their heart, lungs, and other vital organs were rotted and dysfunctional, presumably from the spores.
Researcher Comment: "Interesting… Further testing will be required on the other specimens." -Dr. ███████
