SCP-XXXX - The Ichor Heart

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX and it’s cataloged instances are to be contained in a greenhouse at Site-17 and It’s seeds are to be cryogenically storage for needed use if current SCP-XXXX either expires or is destroyed. Cameras are to be installed inside and outside of the greenhouse for security.

Only level 3 or higher personnel can access or conduct experiments with SCP-XXXX, some of the instances can be used for recreational purposes but access can only be confirmed by Site Director.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a plant with tentacle-like stalks with leaves attached to the base, SCP-XXXX doesn’t need any sunlight, oxygen or water to sustain itself, although nutrients are still needed, it’s size varies from how much nutrients it can absorb.

The main part of SCP-XXXX is a golden heart-like structure with all the stems connected to it, this “heart” is able to pump a golden blood-like substance through SCP-XXXX’s vascular system, named “Ichor”.

SCP-XXXX’s “Ichor” is an extremely corrosive liquid with a consistency similar to molten metal. “Ichor” is capable to mutate plant structures by a microscopical level by an unknown method, this works better on angiosperms and their fruits, making then gain anomalous properties (See Experiment Log XXXX-A).

SCP-XXXX was first encountered by Dr. Henry Chroma on 2015, behind his university in Oregon. SCP-XXXX was planted on the foot of an apple tree. After seeing SCP-XXXX, he picked some of the seeds from SCP-XXXX and started studying it (Later that year SCP-XXXX would expire from “bleeding”).

SCP-XXXX only came to foundation’s attention on 2019 ween Dr. Chroma tried to public an article about SCP-XXXX, which was quickly perceived by SCP personnel, any copy which had SCP-XXXX was destroyed and the agency was administrated with Class-A amnestics.

SCP-XXXX and Dr. Chroma were both taken to the SCP Foundation. With Dr. Chroma becoming the head researcher of SCP-XXXX for experience with it.
