Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard humanoid containment cell at site-17. there is to be a team of no less than 5 guards outside this cell at all times. This is to prevent an escape attempt, and or unauthorized access. Any and all attempts for escape will be met with the appropriate force, and all parties involved either terminated on the spot, or amnesticized and reassigned. In the event that SCP-XXXX is removed from its host, a clean up crew is to be dispatched and a new host found, any and all attempts at removing SCP-XXXX from a host will be met with force and stopped before SCP-XXXX is removed, this is because of what happens to a host after removal of SCP-XXXX (see addendum SCP-XXXX-2 for more information).
Description: SCP-XXXX is a pair of boots with an assault rifle in-between the boots standing vertical a helmet on top and dog tags hanging from the rifle known as a battle field cross, the cross was recovered from Afghanistan following an indecent, were a local detained for impersonating a soldier, died after removal of the helmet he was wearing (see addendum SCP-XXXX-1 for more information), the military gear the local was wearing, was then found outside the base in the form of a battle field cross. A foundation operative heard about the cross and called for an MTF team to investigate. The cross was taken into foundation custody when its possessive abilities were confirmed. The original owner has been identified as Sgt. David Greene, He was reported M.I.A after the battle of Wanat.
Upon further investigation of the platoon Sgt. Greene was assigned to, it was found that the platoon had accidentally killed a soldier during this battle. It was theorized that the soldier they killed was Sgt. Greene, they hid the body and built him a Battlefield cross, a local found the cross, Sgt. Greene possessed them and set out to find his platoon, upon finding them his platoon members called for MP's who detained SCP-XXXX before the incident.
Upon further testing and interviews SCP-XXXX has proven to have advanced strategic ability, and extensive knowledge of how a given enemy works. After these abilities were discoveredDr. C████████████, and Dr. ████ have sent requests1 for SCP-XXXX to be given or assigned to an MTF team. Requests have since been denied do to the entity's constant attempts for escape. Despite these attempts the entity is not reluctant to share this knowledge, and will do so happily. This is do to the entity being told that if it behaves, it will be released, do note that this is not true and this offer is to never be fulfilled. The entity can, however, be given more freedoms as long as at least two (2) personnel of security level four (4) or higher approve. SCP-XXXX has been granted assignment to MTF team Zeta-5 designated "War Ghosts" following negotiations) .
Addendum SCP-XXXX-1: After the local was detained his personal effects were confiscated, the first thing to be removed was the army helmet he was wearing, upon removal the local screamed in pain as three bullet wounds appeared on his chest. Following further investigation it was found that while no one shot, or heard a shot, three 5.56 cal. rounds from an American M4 carbine had entered the locals body.
Addendum SCP-XXXX-2: Upon removal of at least one piece of SCP-XXXX from a host three (3) bullets wounds will appear on the host's chest causing major trauma to the heart and or lungs causing massive pain for at least 1.5 seconds before death.
Addendum SCP-XXXX-3: SCP-XXXX's objects class has since been changed from Safe to Thaumiel. This changed is due to the recent discovery of SCP-XXXX's tactical ability, and knowledge of how any given enemy works. This is yet to be tested on an SCP object, but has proven useful in several mock battles with MTF personnel.
