Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
An image of SCP-XXXX taken by foundation personnel
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is never allowed permission to leave its containment area in the Great Dismal swamp under any circumstances. All attempts to release SCP-XXXX are to be terminated as soon as possible without raising concern or suspicion from local civilians. All questioning about SCP-XXXX or the isolation of the Great Dismal swamp is to be answered by stating a concern of a leak in dangerous substances into the swamp.
Steel barriers 5 meters in width are to be maintained at all times around SCP-XXXX’s enclosure. No personnel is to ever go within 3 meters of SCP-XXXX unless instructed to by researchers or other staff at sector 26.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an alligator of the Alligator Mississippiensis species located in the Great Dismal Swamp in Virginia, United States. SCP-XXXX has a human-like, uncanny smile replacing the expected oral appearance of the species. SCP-XXXX is 6 meters. SCP-XXXX has the ability to effect any subject within approximately 3 meters’ mental state, giving the subject an urge to climb into SCP-XXXX’s mouth. The reason for this is unknown.
Experiments consisting of D-class personnel entering SCP-XXXX have revealed that once swallowed, subjects will travel down a disproportionately long, large esophagus leading to a small city populated by instances of SCP-XXXX-1. Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are normal human beings. The majority of instances interviewed by D-Class personnel venturing into SCP-XXXX have claimed they have spent their whole lives in SCP-XXXX except for a few residents of the city claiming to have entered the alligator in the 1980s around the Great Dismal Swamp which was before containment of SCP-XXXX.
Author Note: I plan to add interview logs and other things after the description. I just wanted to share the early draft with everyone and make any changes and get any criticism I can get to the containment procedures and description before moving onto everything else.
