Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX must be kept in a containment chamber larger than the area of effect. 2-4 Guards must be stationed at the entrance of SCP-XXXX's chamber at all times. SCP-XXXX can only be accessed by personnel level 3 or higher. Any and all personnel must stay 14 m away from SCP-XXXX location.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a pair of rusted heavy duty sheet-cutter scissors (Fig.1) made of an unknown metallic material. SCP-XXXX measures 0.4 m long and coated in a layer of rust will no apparent brand name. The blades appear old and rusted, but has a cutting edge of 1.5 nano-meters thick.
SCP-XXXX has 14 m threshold. If the zone of effect is crossed, anyone inside this zone will begin to exhibit suicidal tendencies. This effect will take hold on any subject, whether their outlook on life is optimistic or pessimistic. On initial . Upon death of host, SCP-XXXX will mend itself to the host and absorb all tissue in the body. This process takes 30 minutes, and when the process ends, the layer of rust will have been removed. SCP-XXXX exerts a reverse visual effect while in this state.

Location: Containment cell B-6(Staff and researchers observing from elevated window), Site-██
Before testing began, personnel were instructed to use a robotic arm to place a small medical kit and a line of red tape around area of effect.
D-36745 is ordered to enter SCP-XXXX's radius indicated by the red tape. D-36745 responses with a nod and walks forward. D-36745 proceeds to over the red tape and begins to exhibit suicidal tendencies. After approximately 30 minutes of standing and sitting, subject starts to walk towards SCP-XXXX. D-36745 grasps XXXX and plunged the blades into the abdomen and twists clockwise. D-36745 proceeded to walk to the red tape and wrote using blood "I am your salvation". D-36745 then collapsed due to blood loss.
Results: SCP-XXXX seems to be somewhat sentient in how subjects are affect and use XXXX. further testing is needed to confirm this hypothesis.
