“The 5D Computer”

SCP-XXXX

Type: Elucid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a 2m x 2m room with at least 5m thick concrete lined with lead to stop SCP-XXXX’s effects. The room is to also be fitted with an EMP and fire retardant foam There are to be two level two security personnel at the entrance at all times. Personnel are only allowed to enter if there is permission from 2 level 3 research staff or higher. There is also to be 24/7 live video feed, to see when SCP-XXXX is active.

When active personnel are not to enter SCP-XXXX’s containment cell, and are to activate an EMP (electromagnetic pulse). If the EMP fails to disable SCP-XXXX, then the use of the fire retardant foam is necessary. This can disable SCP-XXXX for up to a year and can hinder research, so be cautious with the use of the foam.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an unknown make and model of a small laptop. The screen is 6 in x 10 in and is like any normal laptop, except for that there is no power button. When active a sign in screen will pop up shortly after start up and will wait for a user. The current password is taped to the side of SCP-XXXX and once put in will pop up the favorite game of the current user. If the user decides to play the game, there will be a sudden flash of light and the disappearance of the current user. On the screen there will be the current user, but the game, mouse and keyboard seem to control itself. At this point SCP-XXXX will try to kill the user by any means possible, including breaking the code of the game. When the user dies SCP-XXXX will power off and return to a idle state.

It is unknown how SCP-XXXX teleports the user into the game, this is because all electronics in a 15m radius cut off for █ seconds, also cutting off the camera system in the containment cell. There have also been attempts to turn off SCP-XXXX with the user inside, all attempts have met with failure, see Addendum XXXX-A for results.

SCP-XXXX came to our attention when ██ students went missing at ████████ High School, WI. When agents went in to investigate, Agent ███████ saw a kid log onto SCP-XXXX, Agent ███████ proceed to warn the kid that there are trespassing in a police investigation. The kid ignored the warnings and logged in causing SCP-XXXX to activate and nearly blinding the Agent. When backup arrived Agent ███████ was sitting next to SCP-XXXX, almost crying and mumbling how he could have helped that kid. SCP-XXXX was then taken to Site-██.

Addendum XXXX-A: Subject D-3302
D-3302 was told to login and play the game that was on the screen. After the cameras were restored, we set off the EMP to see if it will still reset SCP-XXXX. When the EMP went off SCP-XXXX Reacted with a huge surge of energy, wiping out all of the sites electronics. Further testing with the EMP are now prohibited.

Note: This resulted in the containment breach of SCP-███.
