Dr. Duck is to be treated as a Scp foundation researcher and is not to be contained as other Scp's. Though he can't leave the facility to avoid the risk of being taken and tested with.

Description:
Dr. Duck is a domestic anas platyrhynchos (mallard) whose brain has been modified and evolved to be smarter than most humans. It has the same body and size of a mallard but with the ability of speech and higher brain functions.

Dr. Duck was originally a lab animal witch was being tested on for a cure to the bird flu. Doctor Gabriel Hanson witch was part of the team did a experiment outside normal protocols in secret. Witch lead to his death and the creation of Dr. Duck. Doctor Gabriel Hanson was infected with a highly advanced version of the bird flu witch killed him quickly on site. The disease was carried by Dr. Duck at first and the advanced version of the flu was reported and contained. Later tests showed that Dr. Duck where no longer carrying the virus and showed immunity towards it. A week after testing by researchers Dr. Duck showed its ability to speak and communicate by hearing the researchers speak. It showed that Dr. Duck was sentient and was classed as Euclid.

Questioning of Dr. Duck provided us with information about his past memories from the disease center, including the formula which made him sentient and immune to the bird flu. The formula as been tested on birds, dogs, cats, chimpanzees and dolphins. Though the only animals which was affected in such ways were birds capable of carrying the bird flu, somehow they couldn't go through the bird flu without dying. Testing of different variations of formulas has failed and is still under process.
Also with this knowledge Dr. Duck showed knowledge of chemistry, botany and diseases as he walked through how to put together the formula. With knowledge from Scp scientist staff and from the disease center Dr. Duck was seen as a asset to the foundation. Dr. Duck was classed as Safe / Thaumiel.

Trying to get information from Dr. Duck has been harder as he learns more. He now demands to be treated with respect alike scp scientist staff if he's going to give any information, including not being kept in captivity. The request was at first denied. Later did Dr. Duck show knowledge of other animal language than only birds, being capable to understand and speak. This was seen as a breakthrough and attempts to use him to find more information from other species was conducted, though he refused unless his requests was fulfilled. The request was approved and Dr. Duck was given a empty D-Personnel cell and access in the surrounding area with level 1 clearance. He's also to be referred as Dr. Duck from now on. Dr. Duck was classed as Thaumiel.

Dr. Duck has showed knowledge similar to 3 scientists and provides us with work grater than most science staff. Introducing Dr. Duck to other Scp's has thought him even more and is now capable of conducting tests of other Scp's with results. Dr. Duck is now a respected science staff member with clearance 4. A request to move Dr. Duck to Site 81 was sent trough and accepted by the O5 council. Dr. Duck is now located in Site 81.
