Description:
Upon discovery of SCP-5624 by SCP D-class personnel, a voice of unknown origin and gender spoke the following phrase:
"One to kill and forget, one to die and be forgotten, and one to remember it all."
The SCP D-class personnel that discovered SCP-5624 did so unintentionally, and when interviewed by [REDACTED] had no recollection of how they discovered it. This interview took place on 3/27/[REDACTED].
During the interview, The SCP D-class personnel explained that they had been asleep when suddenly they awoke in an unfamiliar space with two other individuals named Johnathan and [REDACTED]. The following description of SCP-5624 is from this D-class personnel's testimony of what occurred on 03/16/[REDACTED].
SCP-5624 is what appears to be a large circular room with 3 marble pillars around its perimeter and an ornate black pedestal at its center. The space is about 20 meters wide with a dome shaped ceiling about 30 meters high. The room is lit by a blue light coming from a hole approximately 1 meter in diameter at the top of the dome.
Upon the pedestal at the center of the room is a dagger that shall henceforth be referred to as SCP-5624-1. SCP-5624-1 is roughly 12 inches long and composed of metal resembling Damascus steel. SCP-5624-1 has a grip made of black leather. The phrase, "Born by Death's hand" is written on the handle of SCP-5624-1.
The SCP D-class personnel states that [REDACTED] initially picked up SCP-5624-1. [REDACTED] claimed to hear a voice coming from SCP-5624-1 and attempted to throw the dagger, only for SCP-5624-1 to stay in [REDACTED]'s hand. This caused [REDACTED] to grow agitated and frantic. Any attempts to damage or even drop SCP-5624-1 after being picked up proved unsuccessful. [REDACTED] finally calmed down when SCP-5624-1 was returned to the pedestal.
Each marble pillar has a unique humanoid statue carved into it's side, facing toward the center of the room.
The walls of SCP-5624 are made of an unidentifiable gray stone. Upon the walls of SCP-5624 are innumerous writings and depictions that have been carved into it over an unknown amount of time. The D-class personnel states that he recognized at least seven different written languages present on the walls of SCP-5624, with many more he did not recognize. He states it is likely that SCP-5624-1 was used to carve into the walls of SCP-5624.
Location of SCP-5624 is unknown, as no electronic devices have been granted entry into SCP-5624.
