As such, despite the Object Classifications of the Foundation, the 'item' in question is labeled as GOC-WMPD-001.

Greetings all personnel of both the Global Occult Coalition (GOC), and those member of the
Secure Contain Protect (SCP) Foundation whom are reading this joint statement. Per the release of classified documents pertaining to the GOC Operation dubbed "Magnus Opus," I have been authorized to relate where the United Nations and the GOC jointly stand with regards to the related article(s) in question.

The GOC does not in any way condone the actions that led to the 'events' in question. The GOC prides itself as a multinational legally organized, condoned and operated wing of the United Nations and its charter for the preservation of world peace and collective human advancement. What occurred following the unexpected results of the activation of the Superconducting Super Collider in Waxahachie Texas; also known as the Desertron Facility, in the fall of 1995 is a testament to poor managerial operatives and inadequate standards. To this affect, the GOC takes responsibility to the mishandling of what is classified within the GOC operating apparatus as GOC-WMPD-001.
The GOC does not wish to deflect or otherwise pretend that nothing undue or uncharacteristic of the organization's set of standards and guidelines occurred. Far from it. Which is why, per authorization of the Office of the General Secretary of the United Nations the GOC has handed over all relevant data and documentation of the following years that occurred proceeding the Desertron Facility's activation on October 5th, 1995. Together, in good spirits and a mutual understanding towards the need to preserve humanity's continuity; it is the hope of the GOC, the United Nations, and all other persons and organizations involved in humanity's benefit that we can all learn from the mistakes on display and presented herein.
To the members of the SCP Foundation reading your formatted version of the documentation, it is my hope that the actions undertaken by a select few within the GOC does not lead you to view the GOC as an overall monstrous organization. The Foundation has had its fair shares of misconduct and failure. Allow us here at the GOC the same level of understanding, forgiveness and professional courtesy shown among the SCP Foundations many sites, facilities, workers, scientists and members of the so called 'Paranormal Community.'

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-Magnus is to be contained within Site-40 at all times under the strict joint oversight of Foundation and GoC personnel. SCP-Magnus is to be restricted to a room of 5000 square ft, within the ███ sub-level. The walls are to be lined with Scranton Reality Anchors embedded within steel walls of no less than 20 ft of chromium steel. No unauthorized personnel are to engage SCP-Magnus in any form of communication unless authorized by Senior Research Officer A. Maximillian and C. Ortega. Subject 'Magnus' is to, however, be monitored at all times via security feeds embedded throughout subject's facilities. All actions taken are to be logged via observation staff no matter the assumed importance or lack thereof. Subject is not to have access to any reading materials of any kind presented to them, or placed within their proximity, regardless of significance. Finally, SCP-Magnus' containent unit is to have its installed speaker units continuously play a loop of ██. ████████ heartbeat as recorded on August 12th 199█ at its consistent rate of 50 beats per minute. Only to be shut down per Senior Research Officer's order.

• Following the Incident of March 23rd 20███, All containment procedures previously in place are hereby void. Site-40 has been decommissioned of all unnecessary personnel save for a token observation staff under the watch of Dr. Sia, alongside accompanying security units. See █████████ Report for details regarding Site-40 decommissioning. SCP-Magnus is now considered neutralized, and will remain within the confines of Dr. Sia's room unless dictated otherwise.

Description: SCP-Magnus appeared as a bipedal humanoid figure. When subject was first contained SCP-Magnus stood no more than 30 inches from head to toe. However, subject sported a rather long tail appendage which added a further 20 inches to subject's total height once contained. Subject bore further familiar humanoid traits such as two arms and two legs. All four of which sported four finger/toes that were more apparently webbed than a humans. Subject's skin was for the length of its initial containment bore vibrant gray skin that bore a naturally silk like texture to the touch. SCP-Magnus' ears were longer and pointed compared to that of hominids. The base of which, or the lower lobule descended no further than four centimeters from the auditory canal while the pointed helix rose seven inches from the head in a sloped upward and back frame along the skull.
Subject sported larger eyes than that of human eyes, both of which were noted as teal in color, though containing an 'amorphous' series of lights visible about the iris of the subject. SCP-Magnus sported a prominent bone ridge of some manner that began at brow level and narrowed down the center of the face ending at the chin. Along it was noted two small nostril slits reminiscent to that of Alligator mississippiensis, otherwise known as the 'American alligator.' Of final note, the subject appeared to show no mouth. Instead the central crest sported no orifice to speak of minus the nostrils. However, whenever SCP-Magnus 'spoke' the region usually associated with the human mouth would show dim bioluminescent lights mainly of dim crimson or mixed softer blue hue, igniting beneath the skin's surface.
By the time of the ███████████ event, subject stood 6ft 6in tall plus an additional 4ft that descended from the spinal base of the subject come maturity. No information regarding subjects blood or lack thereof has been retained following the ███████████ event. Neither has all information concerning bone structure or mass/density of the subject.

• Addendum July 21st 2015: Following the ███████████ event, SCP-Magus' form has radically changed to the previous entry. SCP-Magnus is now described as a 8x10in cream colored hardcover book. Across the front of which rests an artistic representation of the prior entry along with a title in woven binds reading 'The Magnum Opus.' The book is counted as 480 pages written front to back and written in English, although the language of the book has shown an ability to change depending on the reader's primary tongue. The book describes the events leading up to the ███████████ event from the viewpoint of ████████████, with a dedication to: 'My Loving Mother and Father.'

Per the ███████████ event all information concerning the containment life of SCP-Magnus is hereby sealed via order of the 05 Council.

Herein is contained the sum of all known information concerning SCP-Magnus. It is the opinion of Dr. Sia and his staff in agreement by the 05 Council that these events remain shared in limitation due to the various known breaches of the Foundation's Ethics codes and constraints as well as the incident caused by SCP-Magnus (Classified as the 'Ascension Event') due to said violations. What follows is the data as provided to Dr. Sia from Dr. Ortega in as chronological an order as possible.

SSC Joint Operations Proposal

The following document is a heavily redacted communique that occurred between Director of the Global Occult Coalition (Codenamed 'D.C. Al Fine') and SCP Foundation 05-1 (Codenamed 'Founder').
The letter is the third in a series of exchanged messages.

I am pleased that you were receptive to my last message. Concerning the exact location of the proposed site, Undersecretariat 'Thane' with whom I am aware you have some contact with, has begun laying the foundation work for the purchase of some 30km (some 7400 acres) of land in Waxahachie, Texas within the United States. I shall endeavor to have all necessary documentation transported to you personally for your convenience.
Where it comes to the exact process in which our organizations may commit to the continuity of our species the sciences we have theorized possible for use are (From this moment all information is classified to 05 Council Alpha-0-1-Omega Access.)

I eagerly await your response, Founder. To our organizations future partnership and endeavors.

Post-Review Summation
It is understood that 05-1 'Founder' and the rest of the 05 Council had been in
communication with Director D.C. Al Fine of the GOC for the proposal of a joint
operation involving the creation of a facility. Codenamed in later times as the
Superconducting Super Collider, better known as the Desertron Facility, this would
have been a jointly maintained and operated venture with the intended purpose of
the elimination of any/all anomalous items, creatures or persons both organizations
would be in agreement to the necessity of their destruction. It was agreed to under
the terms of Foundation Ethical oversight and scientific staff alongside GOC PHYSICS
and PSYCHE divisions personnel.
