SCP-5077 Book of knowledge

Item#: SCP-5077

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedure: SCP-5077 is contained in a 5x5 room containing one regular desk (with its edges removed) from the foundation's storage unit.
There are to be absolutely no video surveillance recording SCP-5077.All personnel entering SCP-5077 containment chamber must be scearched for illegal items such as any sort of video or picture taking device and anything that could be used as a weapon.

Description: SCP-5077 is a purple hard cover book with the current handwritten title being: "Unworthy: 253 & Worthy: 3". The "Unworthy" number was conciderably lower when the foundation first found the object.
When opened (even by randomly chosing a page) it always displays the following message to the reader: "By turning to the next page you will learn all that can be learned." The rest of the page is empty.

Even if the subject (from now on reffered to as SCP-5077-1) is unable to read they understand these words. If SCP-5077-1 decides to keep reading they will be under SCP-5077's effect.
The subject will read and turn pages in an increasing rate until it gets to the last page of the book. Upon closing the book SCP-5077-1 will begin to try and commit suicide in some way these attempts include: Bloodletting, self-mutilation, blunt force trauma to the head and choking. Unless they are treated with amnestics.

After SCP-5077 is closed this way the "Unworthy" number will increase by one. The identity of the three individuals who are concidered "Worthy" for reading SCP-5077 is currently unknown.
It is observed that the subjects blood never lands on the book and that writing on the pages disapeares automatically. Furthermore destroying or harming SCP-5077 is currently not possible as anyone trying to do so will feel a strong urge not to do so even if they no nothing about the object.

Discovery: In a public library located in [DATA EXPUNGED] the owner reported that each time an individual returned the book they were muttering utter nonsense and never returned to the library. Further inspection revealed that the aforementioned individuals all commmited suicide.
Upon retrival of SCP-5077 Class A amnestics were distributed among the library staff and the townspeople in case anyone was affected by the object.

Experiment-5077-1: One D-class personel who is unable to read is instructed to open SCP-5077. Suprised by the fact that he was able to read the first page he was instructed to keep reading.
After finishing the activity he started bashing his head into the containment cells floor. All the while screaming "Too much" and "Stop it" repeatedly.

Experiment-5077-2: One D-class in the presence of two guard is instructed to start reading until he finds SCP-001. Upon finding the page he gives vocal response after which one of the guards hold him down preventing him to continue reading and closing the book. At that time the other guard starts the voice recording and begins to question the subject. The D-class personel starts begging and shouting so that he can keep reading SCP-5077. After numerous threats on his life and being denied to continue reading the subjects head explodes covering the whole room (With the exception of SCP-5077) in blood. It is currently unkown if this was due to the books anomalous effect or the answer regarding SCP-001.
