Special Containment Procedures:
A perimeter of 10km radius has been set around the origin location of SCP-5677. The perimeter is split into 3 zones, the red zone, radius of 3kms, the yellow zone, remaining radius of 5kms and the green zone, remaining radius of 2kms. No personnel are allowed to enter the red zone, unless given O5 approval. The yellow is open to authorised persons during the day phase of SCP-5677's activity. During the night phase, the yellow zone is out of bounds unless with 05 approval and using thermal imaging equipment. The green zone is authorised to all personnel and MTF personnel, unless a "Τελική βραδιά" event is in progress. Constant thermal imaging surveillance of all zones must occur during both day and night phases for changes to SCP-5677's behaviour. During a "Τελική βραδιά" event, all stationed flood-lights must be activated around the perimeter MTF helicopters fitted with weapons grade napalm must drop their loads around the perimeter adhering to the "ring of fire" protocol. 100 250 personnel are assigned to patrol the perimeter and must be all equipped with thermal imaging systems.
Description:
SCP-5677 is a humanoid individual, at a estimate of 4 meters height, with it differing between survivor accounts by 0.5 meters. Whilst having a human-shape, there is no identifying bodily features that have been able to be detected. Survivors of the first "Τελική βραδιά" event describes SCP-5677 as a shadow-like figure whilst not having observational features of a 3-dimensional being. SCP-5677 is practically invisible to the naked eye during night phases of its activity, making it a danger to unequipped personnel. It has a abnormally high thermal signature of 600Celsius. This has allowed for easy tracking above ground through thermal tracking. SCP-5677 during the day phase of its activity is secluded to underground cave systems that are spaced around the red zone. Various theories have been created as to the reason of it not interacting with the surface during the day phase, however no substantial evidence has been found.
During the night phase, SCP-5677 moves to the surface, travelling at 60km/h from thermal tracking. It exists in the red and yellow zones, never moving beyond into the green zones unless a "Τελική βραδιά" event begins. SCP-5677 behaviour is extremely violent against living organisms, running towards them and killing them through the method of ██████████ that occurs within the creature. No remains of bodies except for ███ can be found. From "Τελική βραδιά" accounts, no conventional weapon can kill SCP-5677, however it will not attack high-light-intensity sources. Testing with D-class personnel being airdropped in the night phase into the red-zone cause SCP-5677 to enter a hunting state to eliminate the individual. Once the individual is killed, there is a 40% chance of a "Τελική βραδιά" event occurring.
A "Τελική βραδιά" event causes SCP-5677 to constantly try to leave the perimeter outline over several weeks, trying to escape through all documented means. It is unknown why SCP-5677 behaves like this during a "Τελική βραδιά" event, no further study of it has been made. It is unknown where SCP-5677 is trying to escape to, however investigation of local legends appears to describe SCP-5677 as a weapon to end human-kind
SCP-5677 was first discovered in 08/04/██ at location ████████ 12kms west of the Greek landmark Mount Oosa. This was through various disappearances of hikers and also a local family living in the area at the time 4 months prior to SCP-5677's discovery. 2 MTF squads were dispatched to the area, with them being stationed till SCP-5677's discovery. On the night of SCP-5677's discovery, 1 MTF squad went radio silent, causing the other MTF squad to go into full lockdown in its designated facility. SCP-5677 approached the MTF squad's facility, killing 4 of the 7 members. Survivors account that the reason for their survival was the use of flashlights to see the humanoid. After the event, 100 MTF personnel were dispatched and stationed at the perimeter. The event was established as the first "Τελική βραδιά" event in the known timeline of SCP-5677.
Addendum:
It has been found from the various "Τελική βραδιά" events that SCP-5677 has adapted to be resistant to floodlights that were used throughout the green zone. During "Τελική βραδιά" event 17 in 04/01/██, SCP-5677 moves outside the yellow zone and quickly escapes the green-zone and the perimeter zone. A containment breach was called, and the use of napalm bombs authorised by Dr Emanual Petiers was dropped 1km away around the perimeter. SCP-5677 was still contained within the designated perimeter through 28 napalm bombing runs done in a larger temporary perimeter for 4 consecutive weeks. Change of protocol was made, with the establishment of "ring of fire" protocol made. 53 personnel was killed during the event, with 32 personnel being injured also. Personnel was bolstered from 100 to 250 personnel and all personnel were given thermal equipment. As of today, there has been no other "Τελική βραδιά" event to occur like this after event 17.
