It has the ability to shape-shift at will, and usually changes into famous historical figures. Intent is unknown at this point, but ███ ████████████ has ordered all Personnel to closely watch it.

SCP-8776 does not know and is never to find out that it is being contained. It goes by the name "Jefferson", as per its request. Mealtimes are promptly at 0900, 1200, and 1800. SCP-8776: "I have been told it is Jefferson." Stares blankly at DR BOLD
Dr BOLD: "Well." Shifts uncomfortably in his seat "Um, Mr. Jefferson, can you tell me about yourself?"
SCP-8776: "I am Him who you revere… Him whom you fear…" Changes into Genghis Khan "and Him at whom you veer." Changes into Aaron Burr
Dr BOLD: "Uh… I see. So you have the ability to shapeshift?"
SCP-8776: "No, you narrow-minded simpleton. I BECOME the person I embody, yet I am still myself. I retain their memories, their hopes and dreams, and their very miseries."
Dr BOLD: "I see…"
SCP-8776: Abruptly stands and goes to a pile of corpses on the floor. He starts to inspect one.
Dr BOLD: "What are you doing?"

When asked, he tells personnel that he is experimenting on his Altar, and then will not speak again. The reason for this is unclear, but it is speculated that the SCP is attempting to extract something from them in order to pose as a Foundation member. If this is possible, he could conceivably gain access to areas that would devastate the world if released. As his intent has been established as malicious to the human race, extra caution is taken to only allow Class-Ds to be killed. Fortunately, it does not seem to know the difference between a Class-D and a foundation personnel.
