Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained at Site-██ within a 20cm x 20cm x 30cm standard metal box. It is to be sealed with a keycard lock which requires clearance level three (3) or higher due to limited understanding of it's effects.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a small music box which was produced by the Polyphon-Musikwerke in 19██. Its outer shell is composed out of wood, while there is a metal plate inside to play music. When activated SCP-XXXX will give the person that has activated it's effect a childhood memory of his own. SCP-XXXX will give the subject a random childhood memory, which after continuous use will get more distorted and increasingly horrifying for the subject. Although the metal plating is clearly spinning, there appears to be no sound played. When the subject activates SCP-XXXX, they will enter a comatose state and only become conscious again after the subject has relived the memory. No attempts have worked to wake up the patient while being in this comatose state.

SCP-XXXX-2 is a creature seen after at least three (3) uses of SCP-XXXX. It has no clear identity nor has any facial reconstruction been successful. Attempts to interact with SCP-XXXX-2 have failed and memory will be distorted if a subject attempts to approach SCP-XXXX-2. It has a large humanoid figure, and is approximately 190 cm in height with a strong build.

Result:

Use 1: Subject reports to remember playing with friends at a playground, no unusual changes.

Use 2: Subject reports to have relived waking up late on a school day, subject did not go to school that day, no unusual changes.

Use 3: Subject reports to have walked down a path, being watched by an unknown entity, now designated SCP-XXXX-2 after repeated sight. After continuing to walk, SCP-XXXX-2 has started following the subject, but has so far shown no signs of hostility towards the subject. Subject woke up with sweat and is clearly uneasy about SCP-XXXX-2 having been present. Unusual activity on the subject, he seems to be very disturbed about this memory.

Use 4: Subject describes the memory as a nightmare, waking up in his room, way darker than
usually, the lights did not work. When the subject entered his hallway, he reports to have seen a shadow like creature, approximately 190 cm in height with a strong figure, however no face could be seen. After the test, the subject seemed to be in a shock.

Note: Further testing is required in order to gain a better understanding of SCP-XXXX-2 and it's capabilities along with checking for consistencies between subjects.
