Description: The Phenomena is a stream of microwaves emanating from V616 Mon, a black hole 3000 lightyears away. Initial tests indicate that there is nothing anomalous about the microwaves themselves, except their source of emission: V616 Mon. The Microwaves are not emitted in a constant stream, possessing a rapidly deviating intensity, leading some to hypothesize that the microwaves are a code or transmission of some form. Translation software is currently decoding any potential messages.
Update: Translation Software has finished decoding a message in the stream which starts as follows: "I love you, Dr. Matthews." Dr. Matthews is the name of one of the Sonus crew. Having traveled to our solar system for at least 3000 years: the message is broadcasted in English and describes Dr. Matthews in detail (Despite predating our civilization). The message does not appear to loop and is at least 2 days long, potentially significantly longer. Recording of the message is ongoing.
Update: The message emitted by V616 Mon is too long to transcribe, but general themes include an infatuation for Dr. Graham Matthews, a 'Desire for you' presumably referring to Dr. Matthews, and consistent references to 'The Wyrm'.
Dr. Matthews has been excluded from all research of the Signal.
