Single frame of live surveillance footage of the entrance to SCP-XXXX-1; taken at 1254 hours on 09/05/2001.

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: Forward Command Site-74 is to be established two kilometers away from the entrance to SCP-XXXX and supplied monthly. The site is equipped with all the logistics and infrastructure necessary to house two units of MTF for reactionary, containment, and exploratory purposes.

Full testing of SCP-XXXX is permitted, but each experiment must be reviewed and approved in advance by a level 4 researcher.

If SCP-XXXX must be accessed for whatever reason, proper Entry Protocol must be adhered to (Disclosed separately in SCP-XXXX-EP-L-1).

SCP-XXXX exploration teams must be equipped with S.H.E.A.P suits1 rated for level 6 hostile environments.

Important notice: Entities found in SCP-XXXX are apparently unable or unwilling to move autonomously outside their respective native areas, making SCP-XXXX entities self containing due to their inability to leave SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX entities can be physically removed by personnel with varying degrees of difficulty.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a soviet-era underground bunker constructed in 1972 for an unknown purpose. Seismic Spectrometers show that the facility is composed of 9 floors of indeterminate size (designated SCP-XXXX-1 through 9 where 1 refers to the highest floor). Each floor displays separate and unique anomalous properties, which appear to have minimal correlation to one another.

Each level of the facility contain a number of 'native' entities, that vary in appearance. These entities have not been given an official designation due to the number of types and variations between them, refer to the SCP-XXXX-EnC-C files separately.2 All Entities do not appear on conventional imaging equipment, but do have substantial form.

SCP-XXXX produces enough electricity to power itself from an unknown source in SCP-XXXX-4.

SCP-XXXX-1: SCP-XXXX-1 is the living, recreation, and entrance area to the SCP-XXXX facility. As the first level of SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX-1 also contains the most benign properties. As such, SCP-XXXX-1 can be used as a staging area for exploration teams. However despite its relatively safe nature, SCP-XXXX-1's atmospheric composition is subject to rapid and random change, but is breathable with the aid of a personal atmospheric filtration device.3

The atmosphere of SCP-XXXX-1 does not diffuse outside into the environment under any circumstances.4

Unlike all other SCP-XXXX levels, SCP-XXXX-1 did not posses any native entities on initial exploration, and no entities have manifested since.

The entrance to SCP-XXXX-2 consists of an armored trapdoor that can only be opened from the SCP-XXXX-1 side.

SCP-XXXX-2: SCP-XXXX-2 consists of 7 long corridor-like chambers, with 2 pairs of doors on either side of each chamber. All doors are marked "Жизненная поддержка" (Life Support). All doors were found welded shut, all breaching attempts have failed.

Winds exceeding 40 mph blow through the tunnels at all times from an unknown source, the winds direction constantly fluctuates, blowing material within SCP-XXXX-2 backwards and forwards rapidly. The ambient atmosphere is identical in composition to SCP-XXXX-1 save for a water-based humidity of 60%. The high winds make it substantially difficult for teams to navigate in SCP-XXXX-2, as such, mapping has been next to impossible as wind speeds are directly proportional to the distance from the entrance. Heightened paranoia has been displayed by all subjects in SCP-XXXX-1, it is unknown if this is an anomalous effect of SCP-XXXX-2, or due to the sounds of "Human screaming" that are caused by the constantly whistling wind.

Fig3
SCP-XXXX-2 Chamber 4 (Note the lack of observed entities)

The walls of SCP-XXXX-2 are covered in a mixture human sweat and sexual fluids.

Entities found in SCP-XXXX-2 superficially resemble castrated humans with gouged out eyes. Despite being constantly buffeted around by the winds present in SCP-XXXX-2 and consistently colliding with the walls5, entities never collide with one another. Entities show a basic understanding of their surroundings but do not react to personnel.

Longer excursions into SCP-XXXX-2 are discouraged and personnel are to move through SCP-XXXX-2 into the lower levels as quickly as possible.

The entrance to SCP-XXXX-3 is a single armored door that can be found 50 meters down chamber 4 on the right. A single flight of stairs descends into SCP-XXXX-3.

SCP-XXXX-3: SCP-XXXX-3 is the main storage area for SCP-XXXX, composed of a massive series of shelving units. A slightly acidic substance made from human saliva, blood, and shredded skin, drips steadily from the ceiling. Despite the constant flow of the substance into chamber, the substance remains at 6 centimeters in depth.

Entities found in SCP-XXXX-3 superficially resemble bloated humans with mouths that are sealed by scar tissue. SCP-XXXX-3 entities all shiver and moan while lying face up in the substance. As well as the numerous humanoid entities, a number of large worm-like creatures have been seen swimming in the sludge. Entities do not react to personnel.

The entrance to SCP-XXXX-4 is an elevator inset into the wall 10cm above the ground on the farthest wall relative to SCP-XXXX-3's entrance.

SCP-XXXX-4: The original purpose of SCP-XXXX-4 is unknown, since all indications of what it may have been constructed for have been destroyed by the native entities.

Entities within SCP-XXXX-4 are extremely territorial and will become violent if approached.6; teams are to terminate all instances that appear aggressive. Despite missing fingers, native entities will only attack with impractically heavy bludgeoning objects that they hoard in their respective territorial areas. SCP-XXXX-4 instances possess regenerative properties making them nearly impossible to kill, but munitions remain effective at slowing them down.

Access to SCP-XXXX-5 is obtained by descending further in the elevator.

SCP-XXXX-5: Due to SCP-XXXX-5's submerged nature, it is exceedingly difficult to explore. The only method of access to SCP-XXXX-5 is by lifting a transparent plastic shield that prevents the liquid that fills SCP-XXXX-5 from entering the elevator shaft. Removing this shield could potentially render the elevator inoperable.

See SCP-XXXX-5 liquid recovery attempt for more details.

Humanoid entities have been seen floating in SCP-XXXX-5's liquid, but details are hard to ascertain due to the lack of lighting within the chamber.

SCP-XXXX-6 can be accessed by descending in the elevator further.
