Description: SCP-XXXX is a sentient humanoïd creature approximetively 2.2 meters high. Weight has not been able to be determined due to SCP-XXXX extremely shy nature.

Incident XXXX-A: On the 10/02/2020, the nuclear power plant accidentally released multiple cubic meters of water into the river, containing traces of radioactive substances (between 100 and 400 Bq/l).
Path 9GY0101. To the left of the machinery is the path to room 0GZ9901.
Whilst workers were trying to salvage the problem, 3 members of [REDACTED] company starting experiencing symptoms similar to the flu, and reported to on-site EDF medical staff. After a quick check-up, all workers were sent back to work, where they continued their activity in path 9GY0101.
12 hours later, after the workers did not leave the plant, the 3 workers were found deceased on path 9GY0101, with part of the head seemingly destroyed.
Once nuclear staff police and medical workers arrived, all bodies had mutated into SCP-XXXX-2, SCP-XXXX-3, SCP-XXXX-4 instances, mutilating all staff present.

Closing Statement: Following this interview, EDF group threatened legal and physical action against the Foundation, whilst revealing the Foundation existence, if any of the information said during the interview to Senior researcher ███████ ████ were transmitted on the Foundation database. 42 minutes after the first symptoms have appeared, all workers suddenly had their upper crania suddenly implode. A few minutes afterwards, mutation of the body into SCP-XXXX-2 instances occured, before all instances fled to room 0GZ9901.
D-9823, during his routine tour of path 9GY0101, was tasked to observe where the symptoms first occured (designated point A, point B and point C). Once D-9823, arrived to point B, D-9823 starting also experiencing syndromes similar to the flu. Over the next 42 minutes, the symptoms grew stronger to the point where pain was "unberable" and "like, my head is going to fucking explode" (Quote from D-9823), minutes before having his head imploded, such as other workers previously. D-9823 therefore became SCP-XXXX-2-10
Incident XXXX-C: As of the 16/03/2020, due to the global pandemic, French President Emmanuel Macron states that, if possible, all French citizens must stay at home. This has led to the nuclear power plant to have less than 10% of its active workers on site.
Tunnel hidden in room 0GZ9901.
Due to this situation, SCP-XXXX-2 instances have breached containment. Recontainment has been proven successful due to them fleeing foundation personnel.
Before recontainment, 2 D-Class personnel were sent to room 0GZ9901. In said room, the layout was similar to previous schematics, except for a tunnel not mentioned. Whilst moving inwards, both D-Class personnel commenced exhibiting effects similar to the flu, to an extreme degree. Both personnel passed away shortly after, before turning into SCP-XXXX-2-11 and SCP-XXXX-2-12. It is theorized that an SCP-XXXX-1 entity is located in this tunnel, and cannot be accessed before securing any personnel from its possible anomalous effects.
After recontainment of all SCP-XXXX-2 instances to room 0GZ9901 (where they naturally fled once Foundation personnel found them), Proposition to the O5-Council to bring more ressources for the containment of SCP-XXXX-1.

Due to growing concerns with SCP-XXXX, and the additionnal ressources demanded by many researchers, we are sending this message to reinstate policy.
We do NOT know what SCP-XXXX-1 is. We DO know that it is dangerous, and exhibits anomalous effects to ANYONE in its close vincinity.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a 3m x 3m x 3m reinforced concrete case with one side is made of multi-layered lead glass, located in a standard containment cell made of reinforced concrete with 10 m thickness, with an observation deck leading to cell n°2.
No personnel is allowed in SCP-XXXX 's containment cell. Personnel guarding SCP-XXXX will rotate once every month, whilst having physical checkup.
All SCP-XXXX-2 instances (currently 2 3 5) are contained in an adjacent cell made of reinforced concrete with 10 m thickness (named cell n°2), made with one exit to the observation chamber in SCP-XXXX.
Description:
SCP-XXXX prior to be stored in containment, looking directly at the camera.
SCP-XXXX is a blue sandstone crystal ball of 1 m diameter, weighing 50 kg. SCP-XXXX seems to be sentient, with 2 white spots being its eyes (proven by SCP-XXXX "blinking"), separated from 30 cm distance, able to move freely around the surface of SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX observe any entity in its close vicinity.
SCP-XXXX's emits an unknown radiation wavelength, similar to gamma ray emissions, trackable through whole body gamma measurement. SCP-XXXX seems to hate any device capable of tracking its anomalous radiation (see Incident report XXXX/).
The anomalous radiation will effect any living human (if not protected) in a 1 km area with the speed of irradiation being stronger the closer a human is to SCP-XXXX.
If affected by a sufficient quantity of radiation, the human (designated as SCP-XXXX-1) will undergo metamorphosis, through different phases:
- Phase 1 (00:00): SCP-XXXX-1 instances start getting symptoms resembling those of the flu, including fever, headaches, fatigue, coughs, chest pain, etc…
- Phase 2 (06:00): SCP-XXXX-1 instances symptoms worsen other the course of the next 6 hours, with the headaches becoming so unbearable the instance cannot physically move.
- Phase 3 (06:05): SCP-XXXX-1 instances will have part of their head then spontaneously implode through an unknown process, killing the subject but not the SCP-XXXX-1 instance.

Addendum 1: SCP-XXXX was found the 19/04/2020, on the Nuclear Power Plant of St-Alban, located at 45°24'19.5"N 4°45'21.3"E, in France, after months of observing one SCP-XXXX-2 instance present in the subterranean gallery.
During Expedition XXXX/2, MTF- were sent into room 0GZ9901 to retrieve SCP-XXXX, after founding its existence through Expedition XXXX/1 (where 2 D-Class personnel went on an investigation without respecting protocol, and found the existence of SCP-XXXX).
Once arriving to SCP-XXXX location, after terminating all SCP-XXXX-2 instances which tried to terminate us, Containment was done quickly. Two soldiers, Two agents and one D-class personnel became SCP-XXXX-2 instances, which were contained immediately afterwards.

Although SCP-XXXX has not yet happened on an entity other than a human, it is theorized to work on any living sentient entity. The way to properly achieve SCP-XXXX is not yet understood, due to the ongoing deciphering of SCP-XXXX-1 instances, however results of said ritual can be found throughout history, with an explosion of SCP-XXXX-2 instances in the late 20th century.
SCP-XXXX-1 is all documents, in their original version and iteration, created by specific PoI. These documents were found with Runic engravings, and different unusual lines, compared to some of the later revisions done. It is unclear how PoI-XXXX has gained knowledge of the existence of SCP-XXXX and aspects to perform it, but all SCP-XXXX-1 instances detail snippets SCP-XXXX, theorizing that PoI-XXXX may have detailed the entirety of SCP-XXXX in an unknown document. PoI-XXXX is late eductional psychologist Benjamin Bloom. Due to discovery of SCP-XXXX 5 years after the death of PoI-XXXX, questionning has not been possible.
SCP-XXXX-2 refer to any individual who has fallen victim SCP-XXXX, and achieve the mental prowess and/or physical prowess of a "Prodigy". SCP-XXXX-2 instances do not know they have been afflicted by SCP-XXXX, due to the nature of SCP-XXXX being prepared since infancy. SCP-XXXX-2 instances do not differ from non-anomalous humans biologically, but modifications can be found in certain parts of muscle tissue, and/or different parts of the cortex, showing signs of thaumaturgic enhancement.
SCP-XXXX-3 refers to any individual who has performed SCP-XXXX. Instances are separated into two categories:
- SCP-XXXX-3-α instances: Designation given to most individuals, who do not even know about SCP-XXXX being performed. Theses instances discovered some of the aspects of SCP-XXXX unconscienly, and unknowlignly performed it, often on their own infant, due to mostly overprotective and overachieving nature of the instance.
- SCP-XXXX-3-β instances: Designation given to any individual knowing how to perform SCP-XXXX, and perform it willingly. Apprehension of SCP-XXXX-3-β instances is of the highest degree, due to their knowledge of countering the usage and effects of SCP-XXXX. A list of possible SCP-XXXX-3-β instances can be found in Addendum XX.
Discovery: SCP-XXXX was theorized in 1952 following multiple anomalous items, seemingly with no connection one to another , presented the same traces of thaumaturgic enhancement, the then anomaly found in theses anomalous items. The anomalous items was the remains of various famous athletes, in which it was the muscle tissue which was inhanced. Following this discovery, an official investigation was ordered by the O5-Council, to check all possible deceased/former/current athletes to see if these thaumaturgic enhancements were still found. A total of 78 people, designated later on as SCP-XXXX-2 instances, were found (59 deceased, 15 former, 4 current). The current athletes were demanded to be retired from professional view following the investigation.
Whilst the investigation was ongoing, Dr ………., employed in 1945 as a researcher in the field of terrestrial biology, submitted himself to the same test, due to "His unusual skills at the Foundation Badminton team". No traces were found in the muscle tissue, but it was found out the frontal cortex was altered in the same nature as the current athletes's muscle tissue. This enabled the investigation to get its own SCP designation, and further ressources were given to find the origin of these augmentations.
