Special Containment Procedures:

SCP-XXXX is to be held within an acrylic box suspended 3.5 meters above the floor within a square containment chamber measuring 7 meters across. SCP-XXXX’s containment chamber is to be diffusely lit from both ceiling- and floor-mounted lighting fixtures such that no shadow with an illuminance below 500 lux can be cast on any surface. All walls are to be coated with phosphorescent paint.

SCP-XXXX’s containment chamber is to be surrounded by a secure access corridor with supporting medical, residential, leisure, and dining facilities. All facilities associated with SCP-XXXX are to be lit as described for the containment chamber. No personnel are to be granted direct access to SCP-XXXX’s access corridor. Entry and exit to the corridor must be granted remotely by the Security Director on an individual basis.

The uncensored description of SCP-XXXX is not to be read by Foundation personnel except from within SCP-XXXX's containment zone. Class C amnestics are to be administered to personnel departing from the containment zone to prevent discussion of SCP-XXXX outside the containment zone.

No fewer than 4 Class D personnel must be stationed as guards within SCP-XXXX’s containment chamber at all times and are to remain at least 3 meters apart at all times. Personnel who violate the 3 meter boundary are immediately to be considered Class E personnel and, as a possible instance of SCP-XXXX-2, are to be administered a weight-appropriate dose of sodium thiopental administered via an intravenous catheter which is to be installed by medical personnel immediately prior to each shift.

Shift rotations are to take place in a staggered schedule with each guard remaining within SCP-XXXX’s containment chamber no longer than four hours. Guards are encouraged to discuss personal matters and hobbies to avoid talking about SCP-XXXX. Under no circumstances is SCP-XXXX-1 to be discussed. Any personnel who bring up SCP-XXXX-1 in conversation are immediately to be administered a weight-appropriate dose of sodium thiopental.

Upon completion of any shift or premature removal therefrom, guards are to be given a full psychological evaluation and questioned on the nature of SCP-XXXX. Confirmed instances of SCP-XXXX-2 are to be administered Class E amnestics and reassigned.

Personnel actively working with SCP-XXXX must not speak aloud about SCP-XXXX, instead writing notes and recording activity.
