Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: Any bodies, alive or dead, should be removed from SCP-XXXX and sent to Dr. [Redacted] for autopsy. SCP-XXXX is currently contained in a 4m x 4m standard containment chamber in site-[redacted]. At this time, testing is restricted to authorized personnel and d-class subjects. Due to its classification, SCP-XXXX is considered generally safe.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a Moen GX50C brand garbage disposal currently located at site-[redacted]. External inspection reveals no difference from a non anomalous version, while internal imaging reveals that it is identical in structure to a non anomalous version, with the blades removed. Inspecting the interior of SCP-XXXX reveals a portal to an anomalous space. The circumference of the portal is able to be stretched to the approximate size of a human body, which has proved useful. This space is measured to be around 5 feet deep, but visual inspection has proved difficult. Light has great difficulty penetrating more than 1 foot into the depth. However physical inspections reveal that the floor is made out of a velvet-like material, with an oily sheen. Attempts to determine the chemical composition of the floor has been inconclusive, due to it's resistance to cutting with saws, scissors, knives, lasers, and chemical etching. Measurements of the walls of the structure have proven inconclusive, as the walls of the structure have not been found yet. A modified sewer investigative camera has proved useful, and the camera has currently traveled 2 km without encountering a wall of any sort. Personnel are able to insert a limb into the disposal, with no apparent harm done. Researchers have not attempted to turn the machine on while a limb is inserted. Researcher [redacted] has proposed turning on the machine with no blade present, as blades meant for this model garbage disposal are very sharp and meant to actually dispose of food.
During exploration, random items have been encountered scattered with no discernible pattern or reason for their appearance. So far, the objects discovered are:
- One (1) Sex toy. The sex toy has been lubricated with a near-frictionless lubricant. The lubricant has been subjected to extreme stress testing and has exhibited exceptional qualities of pressure resistance, heat resistance, wear resistance, and insolubility in water. Tests are ongoing to determine the chemical makeup of this substance. Containment of this toy was very difficult due to its aforementioned lubricant properties.
- One (1) Teddy Ruxpin talking teddy bear
- One (1) Banana in an advanced stage of ripeness.
- Two (2) Smartphones. The smartphones are in good working order, and are made by a company named SinnuSmart. No company of this name has ever been recorded existing. The smartphones are running a Linux-based operating system that looks and functions very similarly to Android 8 "Oreo", but is called "Sinnuos", believed to be for copyright reasons.
- One (1) Amateur Radio set.
- One (1) Infant child. The child was heavily maimed, with the most heavy damage being to the abdominal cavity. A pulse was detected, but resuscitation was ineffective.
- Two (2) Adults. Similar injuries to the infant. Pulse also detected, and the patients were resuscitated. However, they died of internal infections 2 days after. Before their deaths, they were interviewed by Psychologist Dr. Christopher [redacted]. Both adults had no recollection as to how they came to be in SCP-XXXX, and did not recollect how their injuries were inflicted.
Addendum: On 9/12/[redacted], at 2:30 PM, a D-Class personnel lowered their hand into SCP-XXXX while it was switched on. The hand appeared to be ground up and violently ejected out of the waste port on the side of the machine, and the D-Class personnel was pulled into the machine, where the rest of the body appeared to be ground as well. The power was immediately shut off, and the D-Class was instructed to not move. Upon reaching the D-Class, the body was confirmed to have suffered no harm to it. The D-Class was unable to be retrieved, as the portal did not stretch as it had previously done. The D-Class was left inside the SCP for around 80 days, upon which the portal became pliable enough to retrieve the D-Class. This experiment was repeated with 3 more D-Class personnel, and the effect occurred each time. However, recovery was deemed too resource intensive, and the D-Class expired via dehydration app. 5 days later. Analysis of the "flesh" particles ejected from the disposal have determined the substance to not be flesh, but instead a hyper-realistic gelatine substance quite similar to ballistics gel.
