Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is kept in a Standard Anomalous Containment Unit SAFE-R-1 Medium Anomalous Containment Unit MACU-Y-1 (see Addendum XXXX.3) at Site-47. Two Mobile Task Force Squad Lambda-5 "The White Rabbits" members are to guard each side of SCP-XXXX. A titanium Level 5 keycard lock is to be imposed on the right protruding apparatus1 of SCP-XXXX. The left protruding apparatus is free to be used during standard testing procedures. A staff member of clearance Level 3 or higher must supervise all testing procedures. Testing with purple-pigmented paper or papyrus is prohibited.
Description: SCP-XXXX has the shape of a standard American Capital One ATM which contains 2 large protruding apparatuses on the base. They appear to have 2 distinct pigments, the left protruding apparatus (hereinafter referred to as SCP-XXXX-A) appears to be a blood-red button, while the right button (hereinafter referred to as SCP-XXXX-B) appears to be warm blue.
Deuteranomaly, protanomaly, protanopia, and deuteranopia do not affect the perceived pigment of SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B. SCP-XXXX requires a regular A4 sheet of paper regular A0, A1, A2, A3, or A4 sheet of paper inserted and fit into an ATM card reader 7 cm x 1 cm in size. After the prerequisite is satisfied, either SCP-XXXX-A or SCP-XXXX-B can be activated by exerting a negative force on the button.
When SCP-XXXX-A is triggered, a portrait painted corresponding to a living subject who has mutual relations with the subject who has triggered SCP-XXXX (hereinafter referred to as SCP-XXXX-1) will be displayed via a plastic see-through chamber. After approximately 12.5 seconds, SCP-XXXX-1 will deposit from the card reader embedded into SCP-XXXX. After approximately 5 hours to 7 months, the scene in which SCP-XXXX has pictured will act out upon SCP-XXXX-1. Anyone visually perceiving SCP-XXXX-1 during the event of SCP-XXXX will be exposed to a cognitohazardous effect which will cause the activator and any viewers to perceive the event as a normal happening. If SCP-XXXX-1 is interrogated and/or questioned on their practices, it will respond vocally with "It is what it is."
When SCP-XXXX-B is triggered, it produces an alternate timeline which [REDACTED AS PER 11 TO 13 VOTE BY THE O5 COUNCIL. Conclusion: SCP-XXXX-1 will experience being in a dream-like state, and lose awareness of their surroundings. After this, they will regain awareness and feel that nothing has changed. Alice ███████████ ████████ was administered Class-B amnestics and dismissed into normal civilian life.

07/05/2002 - ADDITION AS PER O5 DIRECTIVE: Further investigations and research find that SCP-XXXX-B's true nature can be exposed to Ethics Committee Level 5 staff members. No testing or utilisation of SCP-XXXX is to take place.
Addendum XXXX.2: Redaction of SCP-XXXX-2
17/11/2007 - ADDITION AS PER ON-SITE ADMINISTRATION, LEVEL 5, AND O5 DIRECTIVE: SCP-XXXX-B's true nature has been placed under a redaction and the file on SCP-XXXX-B has been protected with a NATO grade memetic kill agent. Titanium keycard lock with O5 level restriction put in place above SCP-XXXX-B. 2 guards are stationed on both sides of SCP-XXXX. Adding to special containment procedures.
