"The Fusion Stones"

SCP-XXXX objects are to be kept in Site-23 standard storage in standard steel safes, And are to be moved to the Heavy Storage rooms if any on-site breach occurs (established after a containment breach during testing of one of the instances). UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE is there to be testing without an observing researcher.
Description: SCP-XXXX (The Fusion Stones) is the collective designation given to two stones, refered to as SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2.
SCP-XXXX-1 is a stone resembling a round, flat, polished piece of gold-sandstone about 3 inches in diameter with the word "TOGETHER" inscribed on one side in english. Testing shows it is actually composed of similar anomalous composition to that of SCP-113
SCP-XXXX-2 is a stone resembling a round, flat, polished piece of emerald about 2 inches in diameter with the word "APART" inscribed on one side in english. Made of similar composition to SCP-XXXX-1.
SCP-XXXX-1's anomalous properties activate when 2 biological humans (hereby refered to as subject-1 and subject-2) touch it at the same time. The subjects will begin to completely fuse into one human being immediately after contact. This process takes 5 stages to complete
Step 1: (takes 15 seconds to complete) subjects will be rendered unable to move their own body, and limbs will move to assume a position of attention as if in the military, with arms at their side and feet together, standing straight and looking forward. SCP-XXXX-1 will levitate approximately 4 feet off the ground, and the subjects will levitate and then set down facing each other while maintaining their position. (End of stage 1)
Stage 2: (takes 15-20 seconds to complete) a translucent outline of both body's will manifest, and will overlap each other, then both outlines will stretch or shrink in height, and expand or shrink in width, to the median of both factors. Once the medians are established, the outlines will loose their primary and secondary sexual characteristics, becoming one humanoid outline with no distinguishing factors. Once outlines merge, step 2 ends.
Stage 3: (can take from 60 seconds, to 90 seconds, depending on body size and weight differentiation) during this stage, subjects begin to "faze", and their clothes will fall to the floor, as they seemingly are unable to "faze." in subjects of the same gender, they will repeat the process their outline did, but will not be stripped of their characteristics. in subjects of opposite gender, they repeat the process their outlines did, except they will be stripped of their characteristics before beginning fusion of each other (Subjects report this process as being extremely painful in both cases, as all sensory nerves and organs fuse to their corresponding counterpart) the sensory nerves will send pain signals to the brains of the subjects. Subjects may gain temporary feel of sensation through each other's bodies. In cases of opposite gender, stage 3a will occur.
Stage 3a: (in cases of opposite gender only) (takes 2 minutes to complete) in this process, there is a 49/49 percent chance of either gender being chosen for the fusion. In the remaining 2% of subjects, they may become hermaphrodites, or appear as female and be genetically male, or vice versa. When a gender is chosen for the fusion of both subjects, the sexual organs of the subject of the opposite gender will begin to convert into the selected sex. Then the organs will begin to fuse with the other subjects' reproductive organs, and form one reproductive organs set of selected gender. When formed, it will take its appropriate place in the fusion of the subjects.
Stage 4: after subjects' molecules fuse together, the subject will begin to fuse on the genetic level, and using a punnet square, you can determine what physical characteristics the fusion will display. All spare mass will be used to form SCP-XXXX-2, as the fusions' (hereby refered to as subject-Apha) body mass will be the median of original subjects body masses. As subjects have remained conscious during this time, it has beem determined that their brain has not yet fused, at risk of removing memories of both subjects, and possibly even termination of a subject. Up to this stage, all major neural networks have remained fazed in place. Upon complete genetic fusion of subjects' bodies, the resulting body will be of biological age of the median between subject-1 and subject-2, and stage 5 will start.
Stage 5: (can take up to an hour to complete, depending on age of both subjects, and amount of memory stored in consciousness.) During this stage, subjects consciousnesses will begin to fuse into one, and subjects report this stage as very confusing, as memories begin to share and personalities begin to meld into one. Forming one consciousness with both subjects memories, and all personality traits of both subjects. Upon completion of the consciousness fusion, the gray matter of Subject-Alpha will be fully fused, and the concsiousness will gain control of its new body. SCP-XXXX-1 will go inert after this stage.
Subject-Alphas have been reported as a normal human being, and are non-anomalous humans in all physical and mental attributes, and have been reported to have higher cognitive abilities, such as hightening of mental processing capabilities. Hightened senses of touch, sight and slightly hightened hearing, all within average human limits of abilities.
SCP-XXXX-2s' anomalous effects take place when Subject alpha Touches it with both hands (or any available appendage) while holding it to their chest, they will begin the same 5 Stage process as SCP-XXXX-1, but in reverse, (it has been determined that SCP-XXXX-2 uses the DNA and chromosomes that make it up to rebuild the Subjects' bodies.
In cases of the same sex, there is a 5% chance that any of the following complications may occur:
- consciousnesses will separate correctly, but manifest in the opposite subjects' body.
- memories of one subject may be lost, but gained in the other subject, or vice versa.
- transfer of subjects' features/deformities (internal or external). A subjects' deformities and physical features may be cured, while they appear on the other subjects' body, for example, one subject may have lost an arm before the fusion and may manifest after, with other subject gaining the deformity.
- gain or loss of diseases, in the same process as above.
- transfer of some or all personality traits, for example, one subject may be an introvert, while the corresponding subject may be an extravert. The introvert will become extraverted, and the extrovert will become an introvert, and vice versa.
- subjects of different body types may switch body types.
In cases of opposite sex, there is a 20% chance of the above complications occuring, along with the following:
- transfer of gender identity between subjects.
- transfer of biological sex between subjects.
- subjects may display heterosexual characteristics, as in the male subject may start producing estrogen, and form female breast tissue capable of lactation, and female may be unable to produce estrogen, resulting in male pectoral tissue forming instead of breast tissue.
- during stage 3a, subject alpha will have a 25% chance of becoming pregnant if resulting gender is female, due to sperm fusing with the female eggs within the ovaries during conversion into eggs. (not all sperm will be converted, and remaining mass will be added to the formation of SCP-XXXX-2) resulting child is non-anomalous and can be tooken care of by subject(s).
Addendum-1: On the date of X/XX/2002, 15 instances of both SCP-XXXX were acquired after reports of disappearances of couples in Japan, all fused subjects were found, and after a few experiments all subjects were given amnisthetics and returned to normal. For those with complications due to fusion, they were given treatment to get them to as close to normal as possible, and all subjects were given false memories for the time spent away from home. Any other individuals involved were given amnisthetics and replacement memories of their normal life.

Subjects fused with no complications, Subject-Alpha reported feeling a little bit weird, but okay. De-fusion resulted in no complications.
Notes: subjects reported feeling a little weird after de-fusion and was passed off as normal, and testing resulted in no changes in mental condition or personality, but DNA of both subjects were changed slightly, and subjects' files were changed accordingly.

Results:
Subjects fused with no complications, and Subject-Alpha reported no disabilities and felt normal, besides having personalities and memories merged. After fusion, subjects had no complications mental or physical whatsoever.

Experiment-XXXX/03
Participants: D-XXXX-05(female) and Dr. Robertski(male)
Researcher(s): None
Results: D-XXXX-05 and Dr. Robertski fused into Subject-Alpha without complications, and immediately used SCP-XXXX-2 to reverse the effects, luckily without any other complications.
Notes: when subject was Introduced to the testing chamber and instructed to wait with SCP-XXXX-1, she grabbed the rock and attempted to assault Dr. Robertski, which activated the objects' properties.
Experiment-XXXX/04
Participants: D-XXXX-05 and SCP-[DATA EXPUNGED]

Notes: WHAT THE [EXPLETIVE] HAPPENED? (An Humanoid SCP breached containment during this test and fused with D-XXXX-05, luckily we were able to reverse the effects with SCP-XXXX-2 and was able to reestablish containment of the SCP.
Experiment-XXXX/05
Participants: D-XXXX-06(male) and D-XXXX-07(female).
Researcher(s): Dr. Lightium
Results: Subjects fused with no complications, but after initiating SCP-XXXX-2's effects subjects consciousnesses manifested in the wrong body, and subjects reinitiated contact with SCP-XXXX-2 after stating so. They fused again without complications, and defusion resulted in consciousnesses returning to the correct body with no other complications.
Notes: Subjects were terminated after attempting to fuse a third time, and autopsies revealed no physical abnormalities.
Addendum-3: -Incident log XXXX-Alpha-
On the date of XX/XX/2004 testing on fusion capabilities of Subject-Alphas was started, and only subjects nearing their termination date were used. In the first test it was found that the original SCP-XXXX-2 will be unable to be used unless their corresponding Subject-Alpha was still genetically identical to their original Subject-Alpha Form. If DNA from another Subject alpha is found, they will not activate their effects. Testing was halted immediately after abnormalities and erratic behavior in the Subject were discovered.

Owners of the website were given the classification of POI-XXXX-Alpha and POI-XXXX-Beta.
Some SCP's were found in this website, and containment of them were given top priority.
Website seems to be unable to be taken down electronically, and tracking down the POIs is given top priority as well.
Not too much is known of this website, but it sells cosmetics, simulators, toys, games, robotics, accessories, clothing, jewelery, and even anomalies.
Addendum-5:
testing was resumed after a year of research over the data collected and terminated subjects DNA was determined non-anomalous.
Cross testing with different living things has been permitted.
Experiment-XXXX/015
Participants: D-XXXX-50 (male) and one rose bush (rosa rubiginosa)
Researcher(s): Dr. Lightium
Results: subjects skin turned dark green and formed thorns along the body. Leaves protruded where hair once grew, but were longer and more like thick hair. Urine sample showed traces of pollen, and flowers formed occasionally steming off the arms and legs.
Notes: subject was given amnisthetics and is currently under care and research in the biology wing, in the greenhouse section of site-23
Experiment-XXXX/016
Participants: D-XXXX-51 (Female) and one Silverback gorilla (male)
Researcher(s): Dr. Lightium
Results: one female Silverback gorilla.
Notes: subject lost ability to speak, and after touching SCP-XXXX-2, subjects reverted into one human male, and one female silverback gorilla. The gorilla immediately started attacking D-XXXX-51 and both were terminated, their bodies are currently being studied for any adverse affects.

Participants: one apple tree from a local orchard, one orange tree from a local orchard

Results: a tree that brings sliced apples into reality.
Notes: it was actually quite sweet, a tad of sourness, but otherwise, these are pre-sliced apples!
