Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: Satellite images at Site-43 are to monitor SCP-XXXX at all times via Satellite Array #03. Due to the somewhat public nature of SCP-XXXX, all phenomenons are to have a cover story released to avoid exposure to the public. Any person to escape SCP-XXXX is to be interviewed and then terminated so information on SCP-XXXX cannot spread.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an island located near the Tropic of Cancer. SCP-XXXXs anomalous properties manifest whenever a plane flies within 1 kilometres of SCP-XXXX. The plane will proceed to crash and land on the island. All crashes leave atleast 5 people alive and the crash sites are known to disappear 53 hours after crashing.

SCP-XXXX has multiple notes taped to trees around the island in different handwriting, yet all notes seem to be linked in some sort of way. Check item recovery for a full list of the notes. The writer or writers of these notes have not been found and are presumed to have died stranded on the island.

Tall humanoid creatures have been reported to be seen, with limbs varying from 30 cm to 6 meters and short legs capable of reaching speeds of 31 mph, with wide unblinking "eyespots" where the eyes should be. These creatures (Now designated SCP-XXXX-2) are highly hostile and are shown to vary in strength and will abduct any life form that they see.

Every now and then large seismic activities go throughout the island sporadically, with the epicenter somewhere near the southern peninsula of the island. However all expeditions have never been able to reach it, with either many instances of SCP-XXXX-2 stopping them or trees or dense shrubbery in the the way that had not been there before.

On the ██/██/██ a exploration party was dispatched via the cave system running throughout SCP-XXXX. See the exploration log below for information.
