Special Containment Procedures:
The area of SCP-XXXX's effect is to be kept under constant, yet discrete observation at all times. Any spikes in background radiation should be reported immediately, and a team should be sent to investigate. If any rooms or structures not consistent with a building's original plans are found (Classified as SCP-XXXX-1), appropriate research is to be conducted within the structure. Once research has been completed, the area is to be blocked off, as to prevent entry of civilians . Should an object measuring with a Geiger counter reading of 750 millirem or higher be found (Classified as SCP-XXXX-2), the object is to be analyzed and a digital copy is to be made. contained in a lead or tungsten lined box, as to prevent the escape of harmful radiation. Should anything relating to the human biological structure be found, such as deceased remains, DNA samples, or even a live human, these are to be classified as SCP-XXXX-3 and collected. Appropriate measures for human instances of SCP-XXXX-3 are to be taken (See Object description for SCP-XXXX-3).
Object Description:
SCP-XXXX
SCP-XXXX is a radius measuring approximating between 850 and 700 kilometers, the epicenter of which is the Trinity bomb test site within the . SCP-XXXX is believed to be an "alternate dimension", of which certain aspects cross over into this dimension. The accepted reason of SCP-XXXX's effect is the interdimensional radiation contrast caused by the trinity bomb test in this dimension, and the nuclear fallout from the SCP-XXXX dimension. These crossings are characterized by a sudden spike and drop in background radiation levels. From these spikes in radiation, certain objects can "cross over into this dimension, characterized as SCP subdivisions 1,2, and 3, which are individually characterized below. The cause of SCP-XXXX is theorized to be inter-dimensional radiation contrast, but this theory is vague and unsubstantiated. At this time, there are no known ways for beings and objects from this timeline to enter into the SCP-XXXX dimension.
SCP-XXXX-1
SCP-XXXX-1 refers to anomalous structures generated by SCP-XXXX's inter-dimentional affect. If any rooms or structures not consistent with a building's current plans are found, they are to be classified as SCP-XXXX-1 and investigated. These structures can appear anywhere within SCP-XXXX's radius. The anomalous rooms described earlier tend to appear in basement areas, where the appearance of these rooms can go unnoticed.
SCP-XXXX-2
SCP-XXX-2 refers to inanimate objects that appear as a result of SCP-XXXX. Although these objects can appear inside instances of SCP-XXXX-2, they more commonly appear in already existing structures and areas. Instances of SCP-XXXX-2 can be identified by a Geiger Counter reading of 750 millirem or more. These objects are to be collected and analyzed. A digital copy of any written works is to be made. The actual object is to be contained in a lead or tungsten lined box, as to protect foundation personnel from potentially harmful radiation emitted by the object. The boxes are to be stored at the nearest available secure site. Should a breach in the box allowing harmful radiation to escape, the storage room is to be sealed off. All exposed personnel are to be decontaminated and administered Potassium Iodate tablets to prevent radiation sickness.
SCP-XXXX-3
SCP-XXXX-3 refers to any organic material that has crossed over due to the SCP-XXXX phenomenon. These materials can be any of the following; Blood, hair, semen, saliva, bits of flesh, limbs, cadavers, and live humans. All other samples are to be logged and disposed of. Any live humans discovered are to be placed under special containment directive [DATA EXPUNGED]. For further information see Addendum SCP-XXXX.1(WIP)
