Log 1:
Construction on the machine is complete. Years of research and development have led us to this moment, and we're now able to test it on subjects and, if possible, anomalies.
I cannot stress how excited we are for the testing phase. If it works, and I best hope it does, it could be a major turning point in the Foundation's development. It could have the potential to change human history as we know it.
I cannot wait for tomorrow's testing.

Log 2:
Today's testing went as well as it could have. The machine was able to access the subject's memories accurately and efficiently and placed him mentally in the ideal reality that he wanted to be in. The only problem was that the subject later complained that he wanted to remain in that reality.
I told him no. Not only because we hadn't fully determined whether the machine could malfunction or not, but also because lots of other subjects wanted to try it too.
We're now getting insane numbers of test subject applications from the Site. However, these test subjects are going to have to wait. Order still needs to be maintained during testing, and we cannot afford any incidents due to negligence.

Log 5:
Demand for becoming a test subject for the machine is steadily increasing day by day. Doctor Wellin is proposing that we find a way to expand the range of the machine's subject intake and the machine's effects. He said that that way, more people could be exposed to the benefits of the machine.
I told him no. It was too risky. Should the machine's range spread throughout the entire Site, everyone would be affected should its input functions malfunction. Everyone would be trapped in their own little reality which they think to be real but is in fact fabricated.
Doctor Wellin seemed to be pissed when I rejected his offer. I hope he doesn't do anything stupid.

Log 15:
Faced a little error today with the machine. During testing, Doctor Caldwell was affected by the machine's effects and imagined that he was 'on a beach in Hawaii sipping cocktails', before we were able to snap him out of his 'reality' a few hours later.
There might be a malfunction with the machine's input functions. Might have to suspend testing until we're sure everything's safe.

Log 17:
Second day of the suspension. Found Doctor Fredricks in the hallway mimicking a skiing motion. When I asked him what he was doing, he told me that he was 'in the Heldin Ski Resort, skiing with his family.'
Fredricks' family died in a car accident five years ago.
I'm switching off and barricading off the machine. No one is allowed to go near it now, until we can be sure it hasn't affected anyone else yet.

Log 21:
Something's wrong.
Today, 3 more researchers began to believe that they were in their little 'realities'. So, I went to check on the machine, to see if someone turned it back on again.
When I arrived at the room where the machine was kept, I saw that the barricade was still there, but the machine was switched on.
That cannot make sense. I remembered switching off the machine four days ago. It can't turn on by itself.
I'm switching it off again, and I'm going to look at the security cameras and see whether anyone or anything switched it on in the four days since I left it there.

Spent all night trying to comb through the security footage. Nothing. The last person who stepped inside the room was me, four days ago. I saw myself switching off the machine.
It doesn't make any sense.
Unless…
I'm looking at the machine right now, and it's switched on again.
Shit. This is bad.

Log 25:
Doctor Gretka is dead.
He walked into the cafeteria today, proclaimed that he was going to 'see her again', and proceeded to stab himself in the head.
A few days ago, Gretka was claiming that he was with 'the most beautiful girl he had ever seen'. Considering that there was no one with him at the time, we assume that the machine made him imagine it.
And now he's dead. If the machine was at fault, it could be a very dangerous anomaly right now.

Special Containment Procedures: Due to SCP-XXXX's perception-altering abilities, it cannot be contained at this time, and must remain in Room 45-A in Site-100 until the opportunity arises to transfer SCP-XXXX to a more secure Site. All personnel is prohibited from being within a 15 m radius of SCP-XXXX under all circumstances. Any research or neutralisation attempts are to be done under the supervision of Doctor Reese Martens, the head supervisor of SCP-XXXX.
Any and all personnel in Site-100 must always be cautious of and must resist any shift in their reality or perception, as it has the potential to be an effect of SCP-XXXX.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a Foundation-created machine capable of altering any subject's perception of reality and modifying it to generate an ideal reality for the subject to feel joy in. This is done through SCP-XXXX's ability to access the subject's memory and draw out their respective aspirations and wishes from it.

More and more researchers are getting affected by the machine. This is getting out of hand.
I am authorising a neutralisation attempt to shut down-no, destroy the machine once and for all.
The attempt must succeed.
