Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX resides in a 6.1m by 6.1m room in Minimal Security Site-17. SCP-XXXX should be allocated half an hour per day to record it's visions on a provided audio recording device with a researcher present is to be provided writing materials in order to report it's visions, collected weekly.
SCP-XXXX occasionally makes requests for items, which should all be denied to prevent it from attempting to blind itself which are generally to be allowed due to SCP-XXXX's status as an asset to the Foundation. These have included;
- Books
- A digital clock
- It's own SCP document1
- SCP-████'s document
- A deck of cards
- A monthly visit from SCP-XXXX's brother, D-2992
He's only on janitorial duty and he's on site, I don't see why not -Dr. █████████
Description: SCP-XXXX is a thirty-four year old woman of European descent, previously designated D-2991 until Event-XXXX-Alpha (see addendum-1) when it gained it's anomalous properties.
SCP-XXXX's vision 'shifts' from present, to five seconds fifteen seconds a varying amount of time (see addendum-2) in the future, to the present again, to the same amount of time in the past, then back to the present. These phases last twenty minutes each. This eighty minute period is referred to as a cycle. Simply put, SCP-XXXX sees a short time into the past and future from it's perspective in that situation. During these visions SCP-XXXX sees only what it did (or will) see during the period of time it's viewing, and cannot interact with what it sees.
SCP-XXXX's visions are accurate approximately 93% of the time, and it being witness to these events rarely has any impact on the vision. In example, one of it's visions detailed Dr. █████████ tripping and falling as he entered SCP-XXXX's chamber for an interview, though when he opened the door SCP-XXXX quickly told him to "be careful!", making him pause for a moment, averting the vision. Again, this is very uncommon, however it shows that SCP-XXXX can influence the future, at least in a small measure.
SCP-XXXX's visions initially led to a great deal of motion sickness and mild to severe disorientation, but it has had time to adjust and the visions now only have a minor impact on SCP-XXXX.
Addendum-1: During a routine cleaning of SCP-████'s containment chamber D-2991 suddenly vanished, startling the other D-class in the chamber and the security personnel observing them. The facility was put on high alert and security searched for D-2991 for three hours until she reappeared exactly where she vanished, completely nude and with a tattoo on her neck depicting the letters 'C.H.D.'. She was immediately contained and after discovering her anomalous properties was given an SCP designation.
Addendum 2: After numerous tests, it has been found that the amount of time SCP-XXXX can see into the past and future increases by 1 second for every cycle that has occurred. To be clear, if say 3 cycles had passed then the time would increase by 3 seconds. In one day SCP-XXXX was able to see 2 minutes and 56 seconds into the past and future. Researchers have raised questions on what will happen when SCP-XXXX sees past it's death, or before it's birth. When asked, SCP-XXXX just shrugged and said "I dunno. It'll definitely be interesting."
Hi Dr. █████████, do you think we could borrow SCP-XXXX to observe an experiment? Nothing dangerous, mind you, just to see if she sees anything of note during our experiment. -Researcher ████
That was the one on 096, right? Well, if she's only going to be observing, I suppose I could allow that. You'd have to run it by the higher-ups first, of course. -Dr. █████████
Addendum 3: During testing on SCP-096, SCP-XXXX suddenly began screaming and frantically thrashing around. The test was aborted, and after SCP-XXXX was calmed down she recounted seeing SCP-096 loose, having killed all of the research and security personnel save for one, newer researcher. She recalled he was 'oddly calm', and after a brief interrogation he admitted that he intended to release SCP-096 for the purposes of causing mass destruction to the Foundation. Termination of the researcher has been delayed until a motive can be ascertained. Permission to use SCP-XXXX in overseeing experiments with Keter and more dangerous Euclid class SCPs has been considered.
