SCP-4055 (The Journal)
SCP-4055 resembles that of an inanimate journal of small size and with journal simply written on the front. The users of the journal get drawn into reading each and every entry and we are aware each entry is more horrifying than the last. Tests have confirmed that although the small size the pages continue until as far as 105,000 when a test subject had to be forcefully removed from the journal and whilst in solitary confinement complained about loud footsteps and water dripping on their head from the ceiling which is impossible because it is an airtight ceiling. The subject also experienced amnesia after reading the journal and was visibly unaware of anything they had read until minutes before death when ear-piercing screams were heard from the cell for a continuous five minutes until t stopped abruptly. The medical examiner originally thought it was sudden death syndrome until the autopsy proved the subject drowned. The subject had drowned to death three hours later in his own mucus. SCP-4055 has been reported to what we suspect form a psychic link with the victim before they die but after they read each journal. This psychic link forced all three of our subjects to read all of the entries in the journal and one even was disturbed to the point of self-mutilation where the subject clawed out her own eyes and attempted to eat her own arm meanwhile locking eyes on the journal and turning the page whilst screaming incoherently. It is further believed that the journal feeds the user the contents of the page as it happened in real life so instead of reading what the previous victim wrote, they will relive it as it happened.
Finally, no matter what state they are in, the subject will write their own entry in the journal of what will happen leading up to their death, which is usually as long as a day after writing it, and finally dying exactly as they described it. This journal seems to be self-aware since one entry was itself and referred to itself as "Entity 666"
Some of the journal entries include: A man who burnt his wife to death to "free her from the Devil" and then burnt to death himself in the mental institution he was imprisoned at, the cop who discovered and read the journal before being exposed to a hypo hallucinogenic gas at a bust and had visions of a mummy-like creature with metal braces excreting from its orifices and holding them open grotesquely. The cop ripped a rusty pipe from the wall and attempted o reproduce the scene he saw on himself. Once he had run out of pipe he slit his torso open and attempted to use his intestines instead and involved him attempting to shove them underneath his eyeballs and down his throat.
The journal is kept locked in a dark room and is only accessible to level 3 Doctors. All attempts to destroy SPC-4055 have failed and those who attempt to do so will find their own entry in the journal but will not be allowed to read it. They can only and are forced to read all of the other entries in the Journal.
