SCP-XXXX

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a 2ftx2ft safe within a 9ftx13ft cell. The safe should not be opened, unless testing is present.

As of 11|15|20██, SCP-XXXX’s holding safe is to be kept within a 8mx8m room with concrete walls and steel blast doors. Surveillance checks are to be made twice a day to ensure SCP-XXXX’s containment cell doors have not been tampered with.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a spherical mass of what appears to be smoke. Approximately 9in in diameter, but has been observed to shrink down to 3in in diameter when long periods of “starvation” have occurred. SCP-XXXX is capable of passing through almost any know object, except for materials such as: steel, tin, copper, rubber, and concrete. It is currently unknown why SCP-XXXX is unable to pass through these specific objects; further testing is required.

When subjects enter a 5m radius of, SCP-XXXX, subjects will begin to show signs of, anxiety, nausea and fatigue. Once subjects have entered a distance of 2m or less of SCP-XXXX, it will quickly warp into the head of the subject, (how it does this is not known) now referred to as SCP-XXXX-1. (Note that in order for SCP-XXXX to transfer, it must have an unobstructed view of SCP-XXXX-1.)

Once SCP-XXXX has entered SCP-XXXX-1, the host immediately collapses to the floor and begins [DATA REDACTED] and [DATA REDACTED] until SCP-XXXX has left the host’s body. Once left, SCP-XXXX-1 enters a comatose state and must be awakened by medical staff. Awakened subjects are to be asked, “who they are” and “why they are here”. This is done due to most subjects experiencing memory lose and head trauma after housing SCP-XXXX, and in a few cases, development of [DATA REDACTED]. It has been concluded that SCP-XXXX attempts to “feed” on the mind of it’s host until all brain wave functions have ceased.

In the event of a containment breach, Site-17 is to immediately be put under a category, “p-Rho” lockdown. All personnel are instructed to keep a distance of at least, 3m away from SCP-XXXX or SCP-XXXX-1 and to notify MTF of it’s location (or last seen location) if spotted. When MTF have located SCP-XXXX, they are to lure it back to it’s containment chamber by using high levels of brain wave activity outputted as white noise.

After the events on 11|13|20██, we learned that SCP-XXXX is capable of warping telepathically from one mind to another at a distance of approximately, 8 meters. Further testing shows it is unable to telepathically warp to other minds that are obstructed by the same materials that were listed above. (see addendum SCP-XXXX-A for more information)

SCP-XXXX was discovered in a warehouse located at, ██████, Canada, on, 11|7|20██. The SCP foundation was notified of SCP-XXXX’s existence when a small group of investigators disappeared during an investigation on the disappearance of all the warehouse’s staff. SCP-XXXX was lured onto a large steel container on the back of a transport by Foundation personnel; SCP-XXXX was relocated to, Site-58.

Addendum SCP-XXXX-A: SCP-XXXX successfully breached containment on 11|13|20██, by telepathically warping through the iron door of it’s containment cell from D-3251, to Dr.███. Site-58, was placed under a category p-Rho lockdown, until SCP-XXXX was recontained; nine (9) personnel suffered severe head trauma, three, (3) Irreversible memory loss, two (2) more dead, and one, (1) [DATA EXPUNGED].

Addendum SCP-XXXX-B: SCP-XXXX reclassified as Euclid by order of, O5-█.
