Special Containment Procedures: SCP-# is to be kept in a high security humanoid containment cell, furnished with luxury amenities. SCP-# is to provided with 1 liter of aqueous medical-grade narcotics three times per day. SCP_# does not require any additional food or water. SCP-# is not allowed access to the internet and is not to be observed using any visual media [See Incident Report #-01]. Personal are not allowed to interact with SCP-# unless such interaction is approved by the Site Administrator. Under no circumstances are individuals who have profited from pharmaceutical companies to directly oversee any aspect of SCP-# containment. This restriction applies to personal of all clearance levels. In the event any such person interacts with SCP-#, they must be detained immediately, administered Class-A amnestics and reassigned.

Description: SCP-# normally takes the appearance of a 1.8 meter tall, 74 kg, caucasian male dressed in formal business attire. SCP-# displays extreme psychopathy, hedonism, narcissism and sadism. SCP-# also possess the ability to regenerate from most minor injuries in mere seconds. SCP-# was taken into Foundation containment after an agent embedded within ██████ Pharma L.P. noted that corporate rivals of SCP-# were regularly found dead from overdoses of fentanyl. All the deceased showed 4 equally spaced injection sights on their right hand and high pressure tearing of the surrounding tissue.

Testing after containment confirmed that SCP-# can achieve total verbal control of any person who has profited from any pharmaceutical company after conversing with them. SCP-# recognizes such persons after interacting with them and gains knowledge of their identity and background. Persons so affected are referred to as SCP-#-a instances. SCP-# can verbally command these instances, who will comply with its instructions to the best of their ability. Once removed from the presence of SCP-#, instances of SCP-#-a continue following its directives until amnesticized. SCP-# is content with its containment, stating it considers its stay “An inexpensive luxury vacation”. However, SCP-# has expressed a desire to return to the business world stating it wants to “Bring true pain relief to the suffering. A cost effective solution, of course.”

SCP-# was heavily involved in the corporate activities of ██████ Pharma L.P., overseeing marketing and R&D. SCP-# also consulted with lobbyists and lawyers when ██████ Pharma L.P. was accused of catalyzing the United States opioid crisis. Efforts are underway to locate, monitor and amnestize all scp-#-a instances still active. Employment records obtained during containment show that SCP-# operated under the alias William H████ and was employed in the year 1996 as ██████ Pharma L.P. was releasing a new opioid onto the market.

When sufficiently aggravated, in combat or attempting to breach containment, SCP-# transforms into a secondary form. This transformation occurs instantaneous. SCP-# grows to 2.4 meters tall, develops dense and lean musculature. In addition 4 hypodermic needles emerge from beneath the finger nails on its right hand. Lastly, SCP-#’s face vanishes, leaving a black void in its place. This void displays the properties of an ideal black body.

In this form SCP-# is incredibly fast, capable of sprinting 20 m/s. In addition SCP-# shows significant improvements in reaction time, strength, regeneration and pain tolerance. The black void in SCP-# has a memetic effect of any sentient creature observing it. The creature is afflicted with feelings of hopelessness, anxiety, sadness and helplessness. These effects worsen depending on the length and intensity of the exposure and persist after the memetic agent is no longer observed, typically manifesting as MDD in 80% of those affected. The application of amnestics has proven effective in treating the long term effects of exposure. SCP-# kills by inserting its needles into the right arm or hand, the neck or the heart. SCP-# can inject an estimated 250 ml of medical-grade fentanyl from each of its needles. The pressure of the injection is sufficient to tear soft tissue. SCP-# seemingly produces a limitless supply of fentanyl so long as it consumes at least 3 liters of narcotics daliy. Attempts to deprive SCP-# of its daliy narcotics or amenities have led to a marked increase in its long term aggression and desire to breach containment. It is the current consensus of the revealent Administrative personnel that SCP-# be provided with its daliy narcotic intake and limited luxury amenities.

Incident Report #-01

The following is an interview conducted by Dr. Richard, the interviewee is SCP-# shortly after its detention by Foundation Agents. In the room are Agents Mortimer and David. The interview was observed via CCTV by Dr. Raymond S.

Dr. Richard: “SCP-#, while you were… working at ██████ Pharma L.P. There were significant increases in the prescription of narcotics and related overdose deaths. Was this your intent? To cause overdoses?”

SCP-#: “My intent is and was to provide a permanent and cost effective solution to pain. As an M.D. you should appreciate that.”

Dr. Richard: “Right… so you intended to cause the overdose deaths of thousands of people?”

SCP-#: scoffs “My colleagues were always concerned with the money. But me, I’m a visionary. I see a world without pain, without suffering. I was helping thousands of people, too stupid to better their own lives, find an escape from all their problems. If that killed them, then it isn’t my fault.”

Dr. Richard is visibly distressed. Supervising Researcher Dr. Raymond notes that SCP-# has no reason to know Dr. Richard was an M.D. prior to recruitment and alerts Agents Mortimer and David to remove Dr. Richard from the room.

Dr. Richard: “But why? When I was working in the medical field I lost dozens of patients to your drugs!”

SCP-#: “It's their fault Richard. Not yours. Your job was to keep prescribing my narcotics… To keep their suffering dulled.”

Dr. Richard: “Wait… I never told you I was an M.D.? What are you doing to me? I wanted to help people, you made me kill them! I should never of… why… why did I keep giving them out… why did I keep taking the money.”

Dr. Richard begins tearing at his hair as SCP-# rises from its seat. Agents Mortimer and David draw their firearms.

SCP-#: “Those who were overwhelmed by their pain were freed. They were scum anyway, criminals the lot of them. No self control. It's not my fault they overused my medicine. You worked for me once, you should understand!”

Agents Mortimer and David approach.

SCP-#: “Well then, Dr. Richards you are being reinstated. Fire these two.”

Dr. Richards turns and grabs Agent Mortimer’s handgun, shooting and killing Agent Mortimer. Agent David returns fire and Dr. Richard is severely wounded. SCP-# briefly looks at the CCTV camera, smiles and transforms. Staring into the camera. Agent David fires several rounds into SCP-#’s back, it does not flinch or turn away from the camera for several seconds. SCP-# then lunges across the room and stabs Agent David in the neck. Agent David collapses and begins colluvsing. SCP-# looks down at Dr. Richard

SCP-#: “You’re in pain Richard. Such terrible pain.”

SCP-# forcefully seizes Dr. Richard’s hand as if shaking it. SCP-# puts a finger to Dr. Richard’s mouth before stabbing its needles into his chest and injecting.

SCP-#: “It's been a pleasure doing business with you.”

SCP-# subsequently breached containment, tearing through a reinforced steel door, MTF Eta-10 ("See No Evil") was alerted and managed to recontain SCP-# before it escaped off site. Dr. Raymond was not found in the oversight room. He was instead located huddled beneath a bed in the infirmary. A debriefing indicated Dr. Raymond fled the scene and overdosed on amnestics. Dr. Raymond subsequently requested release from foundation employment, which was granted.

A review of Dr. Richard’s personal financial records showed he had accepted a speaking fee from ██████ Pharma L.P. for an event held at 1996 celebrating the release of a new opioid drug. His actions as an M.D. prior to recruitment are being investigated.
