Special Containment Procedures: SCP XXXX is to have a ███ km fence surround the city limits, and armed personnel covering entrances. Any roads leading to SCP XXXX are to have roadblocks covering them, with the cover story of ongoing road maintenance. Anyone attempting to gain access to SCP XXXX is to have level 2 clearance or above.
Description: SCP XXXX refers to the abandoned city of St. Hillson, Oregon, which covers a total area of ███ km^2, surpassing that of Portland. Historical documents indicate SCP XXXX's presence since [DATA REDACTED], though no record of its construction exists. Documentation mentioning SCP XXXX ceased after the year 19██, the same year its population disappeared, which was estimated to be ██████ people. Even as such, the city seems well maintained, and lights have been observed turning on and off from building windows, despite any human presence since the vast disappearance. All efforts to locate any other presence have proven unsuccessful.
Any rainfall occurring within SCP XXXX will lead to the temporary creation of SCP XXXX-2. Instances of SCP XXXX-2 have been identified as rain puddles left over from previous rainfall, which act as temporary gateways to other alternate realities until evaporated. Physical contact with SCP XXXX-2 will result in the victim falling into the puddle, even if the victim is larger than the puddle size. All who have entered SCP XXXX-2 have never returned, with the exception of [REDACTED] (See Audio Log 1). This phenomenon has not been observed outside of SCP XXXX. SCP XXXX also seems capable of repelling potential threats through unknown means.
The presence of SCP XXXX first came to notice when a woman by the name of [REDACTED] claimed to have been stuck inside of SCP XXXX for ██ years via SCP XXXX-2 with her infant son. Local authorities did not believe [REDACTED], as they claimed no such town existed. Foundation personnel embedded within the precinct approached [REDACTED] and transported her to Site 64 for questioning . Afterwards she and her son were administered a Class A amnestic and released, with the cover story of drug use provided.
No media coverage exists detailing the mass disappearance of SCP XXXX's population. Persons who have documented SCP XXXX's existence in the past have not recalled the city ever existing or writing such documents when interviewed. Family of the vanished have also claimed to have never known the victims, with the exception of [REDACTED]'s husband. The reasoning behind this is still being researched.

Dr.█████: If I remember correctly, [REDACTED], you've been lost in SCP XXXX for ██ years?
[REDACTED]: That's correct. Where is my son?
Dr.█████: He's safe with our staff. Now, you and your son don't look a day older than when you went missing… why is that?
[REDACTED]: Honestly, I never noticed. I guess you just don't age down there. Time there seems slow… too slow.
Dr.█████: How did your husband manage to reach you?
[REDACTED]: He said he had to face many things… had to keep sifting through realities to find us… Is it possible for you to bring him back?
Dr.█████: I don't know, Mrs.[REDACTED], we barely even understand the city as it is.
[REDACTED]: Please, he was the only thing that kept me going… us going.
Dr.█████: I understand, [REDACTED]. Now, can you detail how you survived within SCP XXXX-2?
[REDACTED]: It was easy, really. It took some time, but me and [REDACTED] found a safe place and waited there. Food was plentiful where it would have been sold, so there wasn't a chance we would've starved.
Dr.█████: The records we dug up indicate you were a citizen of St. Hillson prior to the mass vanishings. Can you remember how or why the vanishing occurred?
[REDACTED]: I don't remember… It was so long ago. The first thing I remember in the puddle was me and [REDACTED] out on the streets. Everyone was gone. We were all alone with the city to ourselves.
Dr.█████: How did you escape SCP XXXX-2?
[REDACTED]: When [REDACTED] showed up, he had these things with him… Said they were [DATA EXPUNGED]. He said they could bring us back… But he had to stay. There were only two for us.
Dr.█████: Did [REDACTED] mention where he obtained [DATA EXPUNGED]?
[REDACTED]: All he said was that he loved us, and wished he could have came sooner…

Addendum 1: Dr.█████ proposes future efforts be geared toward further investigation of or the potential recovery of Mr.[REDACTED] to further learn of SCP XXXX's origins, as all information pertaining to such is currently with [REDACTED]. This request has yet to be approved.
