Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5691 is to be housed at all times in a standard humanoid containment cell. No staff should enter SCP-5691’s containment cell without the site director present.

Description: SCP-5691 is a male Caucasian humanoid of European decent. The entity appears to be in its early 40’s, however interviews with the subject have led researchers to believe it may be over 500 years old.
The entity is capable of speech in several languages including English, Italian and medieval French.

SCP-5691’s main anomalous trait is its ability to alter a subjects mental state via unknown means. These alterations are consistently of a positive nature, removing depressive, suicidal, or even homicidal thoughts from a subject it speaks with. These thoughts and emotions are absorbed by SCP-5691 through means as yet unknown, though testing continues.

SCP-5691’s diet consists of, in its own words, “negative energy”. CT scans before and after its anomalous trait being used to alter the emotional distress of a test subject have shown a gaseous substance filling its stomach once the test had concluded. This gas is then digested slowly over the corse of two hours.

SCP-5691 is incapable of harming others emotionally or physically through its actions or inactions, such tests have met with inexplainable alterations to testing, and cause a positive outcome, negative actions it observes also gain this outcome.

Open Test-A

Test A- Minor Injury Test

Procedure: A ladder was set up inside of SCP 5691’s containment cell. D-3807 was commanded to climb the ladder, whereupon the ladder would be pushed over injuring the D-class

Results: as the ladder began to fall, a large red and blue child’s bouncy castle materialised underneath the falling D-class. No explanation from SCP-5691 was given other than stating: “I couldn’t let the poor man fall now could I?”

Analysis: testing of the bouncy castle revealed nothing of interest besides a small amount of residue. Further testing of the residue is ongoing.

Open Test-B

Test B- Stab Test

Procedure: two D-class were brought into 5691’s containment cell. D-2486 was given a knife and instructed to stab D-44495in the arm.

Results: D-2486 began the initial movement to stab D-3807, however stopped when they realised the knife was now on SCP-5691’s bed and instead the D-class was holding a pillow.

Analysis: additional quantities of the same residue was found to be on both the knife and the pillow. Testing still continues.

Open Test-B

Test C- Fatal Testing

Procedure: D-7453 was brought into SCP-5691’S containment cell along with 4 armed guards. All guards aimed their rifles at the D-class and were instructed to execute the D-class

Results: SCP-5691 became notably more scared terrified and agitated. All rifles jammed and were rendered inoperable. Test was stopped abruptly.

Analysis: Once the guards had left the containment cell, all rifles were shown to be in perfect working order. 5691 became considerably more anxious and depressed after this test had concluded.

Addendum 5691.2 Testing Alterations

SCP-5691 has on multiple occasions complained of stomach discomfort after injesting too much ‘negative energy’. As such, tests should only be conducted a maximum of 6 times a day with at least a 2 hour break in between to allow digestion.
