Special Containment Procedures: All instances of SCP-3611 are to be reported to MTF Pi-1, MTF Epsilon-6, or MTF Beta-7, depending on the location of SCP-3611, and is to be relocated to Site ██ on notice. Any instance of SCP-3611 is to be contained within an 8 x 8 x 8 feet, 2 cm thick palladium-based, metallic glass container within a 5 x 5 x 5 meter containment cell kept at standard room temperature and is to be under 24 hour surveillance at all times.
SCP-3611’s containment cell is to be sealed by a 7 cm thick steel blast door, both sides of the door are to be plated with palladium alloy and is to not to be removed under any circumstances. All walls within the cell are to be plated with palladium alloy at all times, with a maintenance check every 2 weeks.
Due to SCP-3611's corrosive nature, all train track parts corroded within SCP-3611 are to be immediately severed off the existing train track and replaced as soon as possible. No human contact with SCP-3611 is allowed at any time, any personnel or staff that come into contact with SCP-3611, are to be terminated via memetic kill agent, and taken to Researcher ███████ for biological examination.
Any instances of SCP-3611-1, are to be relocated for chemical study at Site ██.
Description: SCP-3611 appears as a blue gel-like liquid of unknown origin and unknown chemical composition. At random, SCP-3611 will appear and start to spread on a set of train track, regardless of location of said track piece. Once the train track is coated in SCP-3611, any train to pass over SCP-3611 will instantly have its compostion changed to any unknown crystal like compound, all trains crystallized by SCP-3611 are to be labeled as SCP-3611-1, the process of which the train's composition is changed and crystallized, is unknown.
Any living organisms coming into contact with SCP-3611 will have all substances and elements within the organism will instantly crystallize. SCP-3611 seems to warp the composition of anything coming into contact with it. This will cause heavy trauma to the organism, eventually leading to the organism's death within a 2-3 seconds. However when human contact is made with SCP-3611, subject is shown form an exterior crystal shell of unknown composition around their body and will proceed to the nearest train, regardless of the distance between the subject and said train. Subject shows extreme aggression to anything between itself, and it’s target. Upon physical contact between the subject and the train, crystallization of the train is shown to occur. The subject will repeat this process until they are terminated. Any and all human subjects of SCP-3611 are to be labeled as SCP-3611-2.
Any other types of vehicles that come into contact or travel over SCP-3611, SCP-3611-1, and SCP-3611-2, are shown to have no anomalous effects or signs of crystallization.
Addendum 3611-01: Research Note
SCP-3611 shows to have no effect on palladium, whenever near a sample of palladium, the liquid seems to rapidly move away from the sample, the current reason for this is unknown, research into this effect is underway.

Addendum 3611-03: Incident Report, Incident 3611-01, ██/█/20██
An SCP-3611 instance was located at the █████ ██ train station in ███ ████ ████ at █:██ pm, MTF Pi-1 was dispatched to contain the area. During the containment of the SCP-3611 instance, one member of MTF Pi-1 came into contact with SCP-3611 and was crystallized into SCP-3611-2, subject escaped █████ ██ station but was quickly terminated by MTF gunfire and Class-A amnestics were distributed to all witnesses of the event. Containment was deemed successful and the corroded track piece was brought to Site ██ for examination.1
