Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4956 is to be kept in a steel box measuring in 5 x 6 ft at Site 19. In storage wing A9, with use of permission of a level two (2) guard. No interaction is allowed at anytime, unless per request from level two (2) administrator.

Description: SCP-4956 is a standard microwave using 600 to 1,200 of wattage. It is required to have voltage to be flowing into SCP-4956 to make it operate properly (Note: SCP-4956 can hold a charge for several minutes before fully powering off). SCP-4956 is black in color with nine (9) keypads displaying one through nine numbers, with additional keys for setting a time for heating food, how much power goes into the microwave, etc. SCP-4956 can turn any food and liquid into popcorn.

Procedure: A water bottle from the cafeteria was borrowed and carried to SCP-4956's containment chamber, after doing so, Dr. ████ was instructed to put the water bottle inside SCP-4956's heating area and set the time to two (2) minutes at regular power. Afterwards, Dr. ████ took out the water bottle, where the liquid had been, the water had been replaced with 20 ounces of popcorn.

Results: SCP-4956 filled said water bottle with popcorn.
