Special Containment Procedures: The entire coast of the island and Site-55b must be surrounded by security perimeters and to be guarded by heavy armored personnel. Foundation ships, aircraft and submarines must patrol the sea for outsiders, infiltrators or escaping objects. Special masking mechanisms and radar signal scramblers placed in the area must be active all day, in case of power outage; backup must be immediately turned on. All media must be monitored for pictures/photos of SCP-XXXX, such recordings must be altered or deleted/destroyed. Any outsiders who have seen the island must be given Class-A amnesiacs and then returned on the shore of nearby Australia.

Every sighting of yet undiscovered instance of SCP-XXXX-X is to be immediately reported to the research facility. Any attempt of containment without permission of a senior researcher is strictly prohibited. All SCP-XXXX-X objects discovered by the foundation must be given an exclusive threat level¹ and handling procedures. If the object in eyes of the personnel must be terminated; a submission to the O5 council can be written. O5 Council can also grant permission for releasing the object to the public, marking it as a recently discovered species. Any foundation personnel or civilians attempting to smuggle any SCP-XXXX-X instances will be adequately punished.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an tropical island covering an area of 2.858 km² located at -██.████, ███.████. SCP-XXXX's climate doesn't match the climate in other nearby islands, sometimes weather can totally differ from the surrounding area. SCP-XXXX's fauna is varied as well and possesses animals that couldn't possibly survive in the climate offered by the island. The area also houses a big number of anomalous entities (designated SCP-XXXX-X), these range from insects to big mammals with extremely varied properties, these objects seem to ignore natural food chain and were never observed fighting or hunting each other. Carnivores only feed off non-anomalous prey. Sometimes different SCP-XXXX-X instances will cooperate with each other to hunt more efficiently even if naturally those species are enemies. Mass-research of these entities is in motion.

The following of anomalous species/objects have been already discovered:

• SCP-XXXX-1

Threat Level: 1
Description: Vespa crabro (European hornet), stinger replaced with a 1 cm blade and covered in common for the original species venom. Insect when threatened will try to slice the skin of the foe. The wound then will start to produce banana nectar attracting the insect which will try to feed off it.
Status: Free
Handling procedures: When not bothered, SCP-XXXX-1 won't attack. People with bee allergy still are advised to avoid contact.

• SCP-XXXX-2

Threat Level: 4
Description: A Cavia porcellus (Guinea pig), object has a very high affection to anything living and doesn't seem to be scared by anything. When approached it changes it's fur color to imitate memetic kill hazards inducing cardiac arrest in the victim. It is theorized that this attribute was a masking mechanism similar to that of a chameleon, but then modified to kill.
Status: Containment procedures initiated, approximately 500 instances are still free.
Termination submission is pending.
Handling procedures: Traps have been set, when activated, recovery drones will be sent to get the object to automated H-1 Containment Site, to which no human is allowed to enter. Guarding personel is also allowed to shoot the object on sight.

• SCP-XXXX-3

Threat Level: 1
Description: A static humanoid covered in corrosive slime resembling ███████. It is unable to identify the species. Located in the middle of the island. Radius of 20 m from the object is completely lifeless and can't grow anything.
Status: Free, still immobile.
Handling procedures: Due to the corrosive substances the objects produces, it is not recommended to touch it with bare hands.

• SCP-XXXX-4

Threat Level: 2
Description: Culex pipiens (Northern house mosquito), each bite causes a minor loss in intelligence. More than 30 bites can cause mental retardation. Objects usually travel alone. Some instances are also found to be luminescent in the dark.
Status: Free, to much instances to contain.
Handling procedures: Personel equipped wit bug spray and advised to avoid swamps and other locations with water.

• SCP-XXXX-5

Threat Level: 3
Description: An Ursus maritimus (Polar bear), claws and teeth made out of steel, skin thicker than natural. Not aggressive to humans, sometimes even friendly. Object displays extreme hate to machines and will attack everything mechanical on sight, it will try to bite it and sever it's vital parts.
It will also attack people with mechanical extensions.
Status:Contained
Handling procedures: All instances of SCP-XXXX-5 are kept in H-2 Containment Site. Except for testing, no mechanical object is allowed to enter the site.

• SCP-XXXX-6

Threat Level: 2
Description: One instance of Ara ararauna (Blue-and-yellow macaw), wings wider than usual, luminescent eyes, beak and feathers covered in tungsten-like dust. Object is extremely fast and can attack very quickly, the object is also very durable and can survive several high caliber shots, long-term exposure to fire and lack of nutrients for 30 days. Object usually eats insects and small mammals, but it has been observed killing and slowly eating a horse. It was also observed talking to itself with seemingly random words, which might be a kind of code. Further research is needed.

History and Recovery: SCP-XXXX first caught Foundation's attention in ██.██.1981, when undercover Agent ██████ overheard a conversation between two fishermen talking about an island with bizarre wildlife. Agent asked to show him the area. Upon arrival Agent ██████ reported the location to formerly called Site-55 and in form of cigarettes, administered Class-A amnesiacs to the fishermen.
On ██.██.1981 SCP-XXXX was officially contained. Built on the island Site-55b was placed under Site-55's (Now renamed to Site-55a) control.
