A gasp split the air and then a sigh, followed by a long moment of sobbing… The junior laid down against her desk in a soft yet overwhelming heap of distress, grief, fear, and any other negative emotion you could think of. her mug sat just barely at the edge of her office desk along with the different little picture frames that littered it. She leaned back into her chair, now holding her head as she pressed her finger to her temples as she comprehended what she'd just heard. She was being awfully collected for someone who'd just lost her only parent. She took in a deep breath and pushed her vibrating phone away from her, the message on the screen now ringing in her ears, The sender's name reading "Matthew". She wiped the tears from her eyes and off her cheeks, then casting her eyes over to an old worn picture frame at the edge of her desk. A woman with long wavy brunette hair stood in the center of a field of daffodils in a warm summer sun, wearing a yellow and blue sundress. Everything about the picture seemed fairly normal aside from the woman's bright aquamarine eyes, slightly obscured by the floral had she had been wearing when the shot was taken. Tamatha sighed, as she looked down. She should've been there for her. But she was here, working for the Foundation instead while trying to finish college. Tam felt cold and bitter as she nearly slammed the frame out of rage and disappointment, not at anyone but herself. She put the picture down on her desk once again… This was for her Doctorates degree too, she couldn't just throw this opportunity away. Her mother was an angel to her and her only family who had raised Tammy. She owed this to her, to be successful in this wretched world one way or another, rather than be helpless and dependent on someone else to do for her. She then heaved a shaky sigh only to be greeted by the deafening silence. It was only after she'd finally pulled herself together through a bit of positive thoughts and motivation, that she could hear the bustling outside her office as other's went about their day… And she needed to do the same, to make her mother proud.
'I'll give it my all… I promise you that.'
And with that though of motivation, she stood up and regained her composure as she looked at her watch, grabbed her pen and clipboard, moving towards her office door. As she strode out into the hall, the smell of… Well, "hard-working individuals" hit her like a train and she blinked slowly for a moment before she let out a soft chuckle and sigh. It was about time for her next trip around the site with the other new researchers… Tam was still new to this place and definitely still had a way to go… But she'd make herself a legacy to leave behind, and that was a promise she wasn't planning on breaking ever.
[Opening Personnel File.]
Name: Dr. █████ Tamatha
Security Clearance: Level 2
Field of Specialization: Currently unassigned
Site of Operations: Currently unassigned
Profile: Dr. █████ Tamatha is a quite new and low level reasercher, field currently unassigned until further notice… She shows an interest in acient SCPS and observing them. She does not seem to have a designated site yet either(aside from lingering at Site 120 and Site 23 occasionally). She has been noted to have several papers in her office revolving around a strange symbol that seems to be linked to the name "Syprhen"…. It is quite possible that she's in search of something regarding it but the symbol has been yet to be identified. She is quite eccentric and charismatic to add on to her chaotic nature and is pretty normal aside from that…Despite her atrocious personality, she still tends to appear more on the mentally sane side of the spectrum, living a fairly normal life until the Foundation recruited her after she graduated from ███████ University recently…
