(background information)
This subject was discovered in the hands of a homeless sex offender lying dead in the streets of New york. The subject is in the form of a Manga, first the police thaught it was just another pervy book.
The police gave it to a more private private small time, lesser paranormal research group, known as P. R.O.T.U (paranormal researchers of the unknown) They are a smaller branch of the SCP foundation and deal with aquairing and capturing what could be lesser SCP or what people call "Hauntings".
This branch had found this too much to handle with their current equipments and brought it to us.
The subject in matter 18408AZ, also known as the title of the Manga shifty sitter, like said before it takes on the appearance of Manga, likely this isn't the only of its species, or shall I say copy.
Shifty sitter will often trap corpses upon into its pages, ever so rarely trapping living people.

The subject has been known to have the body of young girls, often bruised, bloody, tired, or exhausted, to come out of the pages, whenever we leave it alone for a longtime. -Dr.Timcat

The date is now 2/15/2040 and the subject over many days after the last update, has developed a pattern of using the girls to lure our researchers in, only to have the girls researchers who enter be killed. - Dr. Timcat

We tried to test the book by burning it, only to find out that it's fire proof. The incident showed that the subject it manipulative and cannot be trusted, when burned it summoned a girl to bang on the door, only for the sanitation department to accidently let her out after the fire was over. The girl pretended to be dead, but escaped when we tried to burry the corpes, the book flew towards her and she sprung back to life, killing all the guards and feeding on them.
We now suspect that the other children we let out, where children our subject and may cause harm to our population.
If you capture one, or see one in public, emediatly alert the authorities. If you can recognize one, I'd now leave it to my colleagues at the foundation to continue to research on this subject and pick up where I left off - Dr. Timcat
