Special Containment Procedures: A series of glass vials stored within an airtight freezer locked behind a series of key card systems.
Description: Standard medical glass vials containing a thick transparent lime green fluid. Under the microscope the fluid is made up of virus structure matching that of standard influenza with an abnormal vacuole containing DNA from SCP-507. This is the route to the anomalous property associated with SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX comes from a company titled AGI. Attached documentation provides background information on SCP-XXXX

Entry - Serum 156 (Traveler’s Flu)
Description - Individual viral cells resemble common influenza viruses with an attached DNA vacuoles containing copied DNA from SCP-507. Within a syringe the fluid as a whole resembles a viscous lime green liquid due to the cell’s green coloration.
Purpose - Serum 156 was designed as a genetic upgrade to allow for instant human transportation.
Outcome -
Day 1-3: Subjects were quick to show common influenza symptoms, yet subjects seemed to be sneezing more than average. The use of the influenza viral structure was in hopes of the immune system breaking it down and absorbing SCP-507’s copied DNA into the subject’s own system.
Day 3-5: Subjects began to exhibit abnormal symptoms to the common influenza symptoms. This included short range jumping upon sneezing. Medical personnel conducted routine inspections on afflicted subjects to help prevent containment breeches. However, one subject sneezed and was able to jump into the observation chamber of the lab before sneezing again and jumping back into the lab. The three researchers believed they were afflicted with Serum 156 as they had stated they had received a standard influenza vaccination recently.
Day 6-7: One of the researchers from the observation chamber has gone missing. It is assumed that he has come down with Serum 156 which many personnel are calling Traveler’s Flu. Subjects are continuously growing worse with anomalous symptoms. Jumps are growing worse with some subjects returning soaking wet covered in salt water, or some even noting they were in alternate dimensions. Fearing a large scale contamination breach Director Edwick was contacted on what to do. Research on Serum 156 has halted and production of a vaccination has begun.
Week 2: News reports from local American Midwest and American National news have reported a strange story of an indigiounous tribe member of one of the nearby tribes appeared and disappeared from a grocery store. This is assumed to have been caused by the missing researcher as his presence has not been documented in sometime it is believed that he had spread Serum 156 to the local indigionous people.
Week 3: Large amounts of missing person reports have spread across the midwest as we assume Serum 156 has contaminated a large sum of people. The progress on a vaccination has been progressing nicely as the remaining subjects have been jumping less and their standard influenza symptoms are clearing up. Director Edwick has also stepped in to make sure things go according to plan. He has also made a point to contact the SCP Foundation and the Global Occult Coalition to help reprimain our mistake.
Week 4: The CDC as well as the SCP Foundation has made great strides to quarantine Serum 156 from spreading to other parts. Serum 156 vaccinations have been produced and several cases have been shipped off to Foundation and GOC sites with instructions as well as an apology from the Director himself.
Week 5: All known cases of Serum 156 has been contained and by now global populations should be vaccinated from Serum 156. There are still countless numbers of missing person’s cases are still unsolved in affected regions. The Director has made a point to researchers to avoid the construction of viruses in the future and attempt to maintain proper quarantine procedures. He has also ordered us to prepare a sample of Serum 156 as well as all documentation of Serum 156 to be transported to a SCP Foundation site as apart of a goodwill attempt.

Note Attached to Vaccinations
Dear SCP Foundation and Global Occult Coalition,
As you must know by now the outbreak of a strange strain of influenza has occurred in the Midwest region of the United States. This was never meant to be a bioterror attack nor is it an interdimensional anomalous entity. One of our research sites focused on viral research created virus and due to a break in improper containment procedures has lead us to our current situation. Might I say I am sorry for all of this but hopefully this will ease our conscience. You’ll find located within this box cases of vaccines for the outbreak of what we call Serum 156 or commonly as Travel’s Flu. You’ll also find our recipe for the vaccination so you can continue to produce more if you deem necessary as well as so you can see what we put into it. I must apologize again for this occurrence fearing this has made a very negative impression of my company in your eyes, yet I must thank you for your quick responses to the outbreak. Let’s hope we can all get along in the future.
