Special Containment Procedures: Due to the inert nature of SCP-4687, it is kept in a small wooden box in Storage Sector 4 of Site-19. For purposes of research, SCP-4687 is to be transported in its containment box. By order of 05-█, testing of SCP-4687 is to suspended indefinitely. See Testing Log-4687 04/██/██.

Description: SCP-4687 appears to be a typical Dixon Ticonderoga #2 wooden pencil, that when held by any human, gives the subject detailed knowledge of the geography and history of the country of Poland, both spoken and written. While in possession of SCP-4687, subjects will also become irritable at the idea of SCP-4687 being taken from them. All effects of SCP-4687, and the knowledge granted to the subject are instantly removed when the subject is not physically holding SCP-4687.

The effects of SCP-4687 are the same between every subject tested, and the same level of detail of events and locations are present as well.

Protocol: Subject D-4364 is told to take SCP-4687 and write an on the history of the ███████ family.

Result: D-4364 wrote a highly detailed essay on the heritage, and effects the ████████ family and dynasty had on Poland.

Note from Head Researcher Dr. Whitehall: D-4364 became very irritated, and almost violent when asked to put SCP-4687 back into its containment box, but as soon as SCP-4687 left his possession, D-4364 became docile and cooperative once again. Furthermore, D-4364 does not recall anything he wrote.

Protocol: Subject D-3754 is told to write anything he desires about any location she wants.

Results: D-3754 writes a detailed explanation of the location and staff present in Site-██, located in Poland. Other information in the writing includes [Redacted]. Subject D-3754 is terminated due to security concerns.
