Special Containment Procedures: The containment chamber must be lined with 2 cm thick lead plating on all sides. Two armed guards are to be posted 5 m away from the entrance of the containment chamber. Under no circumstances should an armed guard enter the chamber.
Description: SCP-4956 is a standard modern light switch located in an abandoned school in [REDACTED], Iowa. All attempts of relocating SCP-4956 have been unsuccessful. SCP-4956 is capable of showing the subject's deepest desires when they flip it.
The subject is the only one capable of seeing the affect of SCP-4956. SCP-4956 gives off an alluring aura in a 20 m radius. Lead lining seems to block the allure, but the reason is currently unknown. (See Addendum 1)
First acknowledgement of SCP-4956: On 03-24-████, a student at [REDACTED] high school stabbed two upperclassmen in the back 43 times each with a pair of scissors in the bathroom.
Apon further investigation, he is seen entering room number ███, then five minutes later walking out and going straight for the bathroom the kids were talking in. He left the room with a pair of scissors that he did not have when entering. The boy also went right to the victims as if he knew where they were.
The foundation was notified to investigate when the student passed all psychological tests with no mental instabilities.
Addendum 1: Two guards complained about a strong pull to go into the containment chamber. Tests using different insulating materials to block out the aura commenced; Lead was the most successful in keeping it contained.
