Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: Web traffic worldwide is to be monitored for the spread of SCP-XXXX instances. Potential instances of SCP-XXXX are to be taken down and replaced with digital copies embedded with a Type 2 Langley memetic agent1. Each copy uploaded is to be assigned a unique identification number in the image metadata for the express purpose of tracking SCP-XXXX's movement. Identification numbers must be generated and assigned to copies in accordance with A.S.F.P. standards. Quarterly reviews of image galleries and search engines are to be performed by the Foundation Memetic task-force [BLACKED OUT] to ensure the effective presence of Foundation-monitored copies of potential SCP-XXXX instances.
Coordination with law enforcement is required to catalogue the addresses of physical copies of potential SCP-XXXX instances ordered off the internet. The addresses of physical copies are subject to the same A.S.F.P. identification standards. Should SCP-XXXX appear in the original instance located at Santa Maria della Grazie, Milan in Italy, then the relevant foundation liaison [BLACKED OUT] is to contact the current Director-General of UNESCO and coordinate on behalf of the Foundation. Should the sitting liaison be unavailable or compromised, a replacement liaison should be put in place contingent on the confirmation of a Level 3 security clearance and approval from the Site-28 Director.
Individuals off-site that survive an encounter with SCP-XXXX are to have their memories erased holistically with at least 75 mg of Class B amnestic. On-site test subjects are to have specific memories of the encounter erased with a Class C amnestic and receive standard psychological evaluation.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid entity of unknown origin that resides in Leonardo da Vinci's The Last Supper. Any copy of The Last Supper digital or otherwise is considered a potential instance of SCP-XXXX. There is currently no evidence to support that SCP-XXXX exists or is capable of existing in other paintings.
SCP-XXXX's observed height has varied from 5'1" to 6'3" and even [DATA-EXPUNGED]. While there is no strict characterization of SCP-XXXX's height, consistent physical traits have been observed.
While it is believed that SCP-XXXX does not prefer a particular demographic, SCP-XXXX will not manifest itself in the painting under group observation or clear surveillance. This suggests that SCP-XXXX has a deliberate predatory nature when approaching viewers and is able to observe the outside environment before manifesting.
To date, SCP-XXXX instances are characterized by five distinct behaviors.
Discovery: SCP-XXXX was initially discovered in 2016 via advancements in the Anomalous Signature Forecasting Program (A.S.F.P.)2. Web traffic records corresponding to the viewing and downloading of potential SCP-XXXX instances were cross-referenced with missing person reports to identify the entity. The first known digital instance of SCP-XXXX is traced to 2004 where Evelyn Atkinson of Seattle, Washington went missing. While the first recorded instances of SCP-XXXX are digital, it is now known that all visually replicated copies of The Last Supper are potential instances of SCP-XXXX whether they are digital or not. An A.S.F.P. timeline of SCP-XXXX instances is shown below.
