Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5001 is currently enclosed by Site-205 in a 50 metre by 100 metre room and is monitored at all times, any creatures that come out of SCP-5001 are to be terminated.
Description: SCP-5001 is a path in Mote Park Forest In County Roscommon,Ireland.The path goes up a hill through bushes and ends near a fence of barb wire.When a living creature goes up the path and then return from the dead end they seem to have gone to a different dimension.
SCP-5001-2 is a forest dimension about 50 kilometers in diameter with a lake in the middle.Survivors have claimed to see strange creatures.
Recorded Experiments
Experiment Record 1 A : A class D is tied to a rope and ordered to walk on SCP-5001 until he reaches the end and then to walk back. The class D was supplied with a radio and flashlight.The class D reached the end and informed the researchers that he is going to be heading back now.
The facility guards holding the rope start pulling it back,the rope was pulled back completely but there was no sign of the Class D.
Experiment Record 1 B : The Class D was still communicating through the radio, he confirmed that the path was longer and narrower and that there were more trees.The researchers heard a scream, a roar and then the radio line cut out.
No further experiments will be done on SCP-5001 or SCP-5001-2 until cleared by the 05.
Additional Information: A humanoid that came out of the path was interrogated and it revealed information on how the path between dimensions work.The humanoid was then contained in a 10 meter by 20 meter room with furniture by Site 205,
now know as SCP-5002
