Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a hermetically sealed glass container measuring 20cm X 20cm X 10cm. Daily inspections of the case for cracks or damage are to be done by 2 D-class personnel. No personnel bellow level 4 are to be allowed access to SCP-XXXX’s secondary containment. Secondary containment is a standard 5m X 5m X 5m containment cell with double locking doors and an observation room. Observation is to be done by CCTV outside 10 meters from the secondary containment except during experimentation. Personnel on guard at SCP-XXXX’s containment shall be provided hearing protection to be worn at all times. Personnel exposed to SCP-XXXX’s secondary effects are to be transferred immediately and undergo a psychological evaluation. Termination may be granted in severe cases at the discretion of on-site security personnel. An incinerator is to activate automatically if the glass case is broken by any means.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a pair of working gloves with significant wear. Wear includes several cracks and chips in the leather grip of the gloves, and burn marks across the palms of the gloves. Chemical analysis has shown the burns to contain traces of black powder, sulfur, and [Redacted] found within the interior of the gloves.

Whenever a sentient being is within 5 to 10 meters of SCP-XXXX it will prompt the formation of SCP-XXXX-1, which is a humanoid entity measuring 4.0m in height. The entity is known to create unease in those who view it. SCP-XXXX-1 is noticeably burned severely, with medical personnel diagnosing it with bullet wounds, third-degree burns and [Data Expunged]. SCP-XXXX-1 is sapient and rather condescending or demining to those who view it, with those who have encountered it describing him as an “I’ll tempered old man”. SCP-XXXX-1 has an innate knowledge of an entities desires or dreams and will attempt to offer its help to entities viewing it by asking them to wear SCP-XXXX on their hands.

When a sentient being wears SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX-1 will disappear from view of other observers, the wearer of SCP-XXXX, and any visual field including infrared and nightvision. The wearer of SCP-XXXX (hereby-designated SCP-XXXX-2) will undergo psychological changes to become extremely hostile to other sapient beings. Gaining properties of telekinesis, teleportation, energy manipulation, teleportation and a unique trait to shatter all bones in a human’s body simultaneously.

The longer a sentient being wears SCP-XXXX it will slowly atrophy the hands of SCP-XXXX-2 until they completely replace them. It is unknown how SCP-XXXX does this as no visible substance or force is present and causes no pain to SCP-XXXX-2. Should SCP-XXXX fully replace the hands of SCP-XXXX-2 it is theorized that [Data Expunged].

Addendum-01: On 09 / 19 / 2000, guards at SCP-XXXX’s containment began to experience a whispering in their ears. The guards called Dr. Peterson and informed him of the anomaly, telling him the voice was unintelligible and sounded like an older male. Soon after reporting the anomaly both guards grew agitated with each other, eventually after [Redacted] minutes, Agent Nick fired on Agent John resulting in 10 bullet wounds on the later Agent, who died 2 minutes later. 10 minutes after attacking Agent Nick, Agent John shot himself.

-Note from Dr. Peterson: SCP-XXXX-1’s has shown his ability to act independently of SCP-XXXX; I strongly recommend an adjustment of containment procedures and an upgrade to Keter Classification.

Dr. Peterson and 2 guards sit in the observation room of SCP-XXXX. Peterson holds a notepad. Feed switches to show one D-class personnel, D-4176, 34-year old male with a noted want to escape his confinement, punished several times for disobedience but not terminated under Dr. Peterson’s order.
D-4176: Why am I here?!
Dr. Peterson: Don’t worry D-4176 enter the containment cell.
D-4176 complies and steps into the cell. Feed switches to containment CCTV.
D-4176: Now what?
At this point the cell doors are shut and SCP-XXXX-1 appears before D-4176, startling him.
D-4176: What the fuck is that?!
Dr. Peterson: Just talk to him, it’s perfectly normal.
SCP-XXXX-1: Hello… you must be Jonathan
D-4176: Yes, and you are?
SCP-XXXX-1: That is irrelevant. I can offer you something you want.
D-4176 looks distressed but interested
D-4176: How?
SCP-XXXX-1: Points to the case containing SCP-XXXX Put on the glovesss…
D-4176 slowly approaches the case containing SCP-XXXX, which is opened automatically by Dr. Peterson. Slight distortions in video feed are observed. D-4176 hesitates then picks up SCP-4103.
D-4176: How do you know your not tricking me?
SCP-4103-1: We have a mutual want to leave this place. I simply give you the ability to do so.
Agent Watterson leaves the observation room and stands at the exit door to SCP-XXXX’s containment.
D-4176 puts on the now adjusted SCP-XXXX. The shutter on the observation room windows is shut.
SCP-XXXX-2: GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!
SCP-XXXX-2 struggles on the ground for 10 seconds before standing up.
SCP-XXXX-2: I see now… I see what you mean…this power drives me…Its kill or be killed!
SCP-XXXX-2 laughs uncontrollably for 10 seconds before turning his attention to the locked containment door. Which begins to creak and shudder from unseen stress. The door opens as Agent Watterson fires 25 rounds into SCP-XXXX-2. Catching SCP-XXXX-2 by surprise. SCP-XXXX-2 confirmed terminated by Agent Watterson, SCP-XXXX is put back into containment.

XXXX-B: Interview with SCP-XXXX-1
Interviewer: Dr. Peterson
*Begin video log*
Dr. Peterson sits in a room with SCP-XXXX in its glass case across the table from him. Agent Holmes stands behind Dr. Peterson.
Dr. Peterson: Leave
Agent Holmes leaves the room. At which point SCP-XXXX-1 appears.
SCP-XXXX-1: I see what you want… information.
Dr. Peterson Yes, but I’m not putting on your gloves to get it.
SCP-XXXX-1: Adamant you are pause I’m feeling nice today, ask away.
Dr. Peterson: Who are you?
SCP-XXXX-1: You mean who I was doctor.
Dr. Peterson: …Sure lets go with that.
SCP-XXXX-1: I was a man…young and full of hope. I sought adventure, fame, and glory. Instead I got pain, suffering, and los. A lie…all of it.
Dr. Peterson: A lie? What are you referring to?
SCP-XXXX-1: Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori. Sweet and proper it is to die for one’s country.
Dr. Peterson: Why do you say it lies?
SCP-XXXX-1: It’s true! Look at me! I’m burned, and scared, in constant pain! NOTHING is sweet and proper in THAT!
SCP-XXXX-1 grew quite agitated, beginning to shout over Dr. Peterson’s questions and requests to calm down.
SCP-XXXX-1: Humans are an evil race! Poised even to destroy their own kind! They seek nothing for others only themselves! They put me here to suffer! I’ve suffered! Because of them! …… Points to Dr. Peterson Because of you!
Dr. Peterson stands up
SCP-XXXX-1: You are part of them! You care not for me and my brothers who suffered and died! I intend to rid the world of your kind! For me and my brothers in arms!
SCP-XXXX-1 becomes calm his tone remains agitated
SCP-XXXX-1: That is what you wanted doctor, a motive. Now for my cut of the deal.
SCP-XXXX-1 disappears from view Dr. Peterson looks at the camera.
Dr. Peterson: This interview is terminated.

-Note: Dr. Peterson was admitted to the medical ward 2 days later with significant damage to his collarbone, 2 rib fractures, and several slashes and scratches on his body. Assumed to have been attacked by SCP-XXXX-1.

XXXX-C: Test of refusal of SCP-XXXX-1
Researcher: Dr. Peterson

One D-Class personnel told to refuse any deal from SCP-XXXX-1, D-5757, enters SCP-XXXX’s containment.
D-5757: Ok, now what?
Dr. Peterson: Stick to the script, if you accept its deal it will kill you.
D-5757: Ok
SCP-XXXX-1 appears before D-5757
SCP-XXXX-1: So…you seem obedient, not common of your kind. But I know you have something…somewhere.
D-5757 stands firm and says nothing
SCP-XXXX-1: They keep you imprisoned here; you know you want to leave.
D-5757: You can’t fool me. I know your tricks.
SCP-XXXX-1: They lie the scientists, just like the scum they are.
SCP-XXXX-1 disappears, D-5757 moves to the exit and [Data Expunged]

Incident Report 09/ 19 / 2000:

On 09 / 19 /2000, a power failure at Site 19 resulted in the loss of power in the containment zones and prison blocks. Security teams were sent to contain 10 SCP’s as the site went on generator power. D-9341 entered the containment zone 10 minutes after the restoration of power. Faulty wiring at SCP-XXXX’s containment cell left the door open, allowing D-9341 to enter the containment chamber. Security tapes revealed SCP-XXXX-1 talking to D-9341 followed by D-9341 putting on SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX-2 fell to the floor of SCP-XXXX’s containment chamber and twitched for [Redacted] minutes before standing up and proceeding out of the containment chamber.
SCP-XXXX-2 encountered a team of 7 security personnel who immediately opened fire on SCP-XXXX-2. SCP-XXXX-2 raised its hand and “physically” stopped the bullets mid-air. The firing ceased as SCP-XXXX-2 snapped its fingers causing the rounds to reverse direction and kill 6 security personnel. SCP-XXXX-2 then [Redacted] the last security agent, killing him instantly.
SCP-XXXX-2 then proceeded to move through the facility, killing nay personnel in its path until it reached the surface. MTF Epsilon-11 was deployed along with [Redacted] helicopters and 3 task forces of security staff. SCP-XXXX-2 responded by releasing a [Data Expunged] killing [Redacted] personnel and destroying all of the helicopters. Sniper teams killed SCP-XXXX-2 soon after the event. SCP-XXXX was re-contained by Epsilon-11, with total foundation casualties estimated at [Redacted] personnel. [Redacted] were attributed to SCP-XXXX alone.

Note- Containment procedures updated to reduce the chance of another breach. SCP-XXXX-2’s hands were almost completely disintegrated by SCP-XXXX. We came very close to an XK; I don’t want another close call.
