Special Containment Procedures: [Instances of SCP-XXXX are to be kept in a 10m x8m x10 5-inch-thick lead lined steel cubic container with one cubic meter hatch opening on top to insert further instances of SPC-XXXX upon retrieval. Containment area entrance should be equipped with a high-grade metal detector upon the entrance and remote activated high frequency sound generators at least above 130 decimals upon activation of metal detectors. Description: [SPC-XXXX are sentient metallic Jellyfish like creatures. Each instance is equipped with two round red orbs attached to antennule leading to the bell of the creature. It is assumed that the red orbs are used to interpret visual stimuli although SPC-XXXX has multiple ways to be aware of its immediate surroundings the full mechanisms of so are currently not known. Following the bell are a series of multiple sharp long slender tentacles the amount varies from instance to instance but normally ranges from thirty to forty.
SCP-XXXX has the ability to infect a host body by entering through small wounds created easily by its tentacles. It enters the host and begins to attach to the nervous system and bones of said host. Essentially taking over the host body having access to all memories of the host with in the past five years prior to infection as well as being able to retain basic traits of the hosts personality.
Once SCP-XXXX enters a host it is virtually in visible, it can only be detected by the body of SCP-XXXX being detected by metal detectors or the red orbs being seen in the eyes of the host in flash photography. SCP-XXXX have the capability to use the organic matter of the host to reproduce more instances of itself and further spread their influence.
SCP-XXXX has been found to frequently infect bureaucracies small or large scale and further reproduce and infect to further their power within said bureaucracy. Instances of SCP-XXXX use their power in bureaucracies to further restrict personal freedoms and increase invasive surveillance of those it holds power over.
Hosts infected with SCP-XXXX are known to only infect others when alone with potential new hosts, that they perceive will be useful to furthering their control of area mostly influential individuals. SCP-XXXX is known to infect multiple levels of hierarchy in an area to political leaders to younger influencers.
The ultimate goal of SCP-XXXX Instances is currently unknown, the only known goal is to further its influence on a local populous. The origin of SCP-XXXX is currently unknown due to lack of corporation of infected host instances to discuss anything related to SCP-XXXX instances.]
