Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a standard containment locker, located within the safe wing of Site-██. Attempts to remove SCP-XXXX-1 or SCP-XXXX-2 from the walls of the standard containment locker shall not occur without permission from a Level Three (3) Researcher. Testing must be carried out in an airtight containment cell, with only subjects inside. Water produced by SCP-XXXX-2 is to be drained and under no circumstances should be allowed to enter a gaseous state. No individuals with sociopathic or psychopathic tendencies may be allowed in contact with water from SCP-XXXX-2. Testing may not occur on subjects with suicidal tendencies without permission from a Level Four (4) Researcher.

Description: SCP-XXXX is composed of a shower head (SCP-XXXX-1) and a temperature knob (SCP-XXXX-2) of unknown brand. SCP-XXXX-2 has only one temperature option, being hot. When SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 are placed within the proximity of a wall, SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 affix themselves to the wall for a period between three (3) minutes and █ days. When SCP-XXXX-2 is activated, water begins to leave SCP-XXXX-1 at a rate of approximately eight (8) litres per second. This rate is not affected by whether SCP-XXXX-1 is connected to a water supply.

After two (2) minutes an instance of SCP-XXXX-3 occurs. SCP-XXXX-3 is a gaseous substance which varies depending on the subject in contact with water created by SCP-XXXX-1 and the subject's current emotional state. If multiple subjects are in contact with water created by SCP-XXXX-1, the subject with the greatest mass will be affected.

Subject: D-9487.
Testing: When placed under SCP-XXXX-1, an instance of SCP-XXXX-3 occurred. Later compositional testing indicated it to be Hydrogen Cyanide (HCN) gas. D-9487 was terminated when the volume of the gas reached █ cubic meters.
Notes: Post-test report found that D-9487 had previous suicidal tendencies, and had attempted to end his life multiple times whilst in Foundation custody. Containment Procedures updated to ensure testing on those with suicidal testing has proper safety procedures.

Subject: Researcher D. ██████, recommended due to his almost permanent happy demeanour.
Testing: Compositional testing of SCP-XXXX-3 instance showed it to be N₂O (Laughing Gas). Subject remained in contact with water from SCP-XXXX-1 for ninety-three (93) minutes until SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 detached themselves from the wall.
Notes: Level 4 permission pending to use SCP-XXXX in conjunction with Dr D. ██████ to increase the morale of staff at Site ██. Permission denied. Emotional states are too unpredictable. Site Director ███████ ████

Notes: D-████ was dispatched by MTF positioned at Site-██. Post event analysis found that D-████ had previously been in SCP-████ testing. All future D-Class personnel involved in SCP-XXXX testing may not be have been involved in gaseous anomaly testing.

+ Addendum SCP-XXXX-1

After D-████ came into contact with water produced by SCP-XXXX-1, an instance of a previously discovered anomaly, SCP-████. SCP-████ was released in a gaseous form, and quickly corroded the walls of the testing chamber, whilst transforming D-████ into [DATA REDACTED]. Damage from SCP-████ and D-████ resulted in the deaths of 4██ facility staff.
