Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be placed in a level 5 security storage unit, at site-██. Any testing with the object is only to be done with express 05 permission.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a handle, with a button placed in a standard position to be pressed by a thumb, meant to activate an attached ring-like device, meant to be fit to the head of a user. The device has two sharp attachments, roughly a millimetre in length, meant to be inserted into the temple of the wearer. Once an individual is fitted with the object, the visual information produced by the optic sensory organs of the wearer are cataloged inside a memory card located in the head piece of the device, and it will only stop recording new information if the wearer removes the object or if the object stops reading new information from the wearer. (To clarify, the device was apparently designed to read signs of life as well as sensory information, it's simply that sensory information is the only information that it catalogs.)

Upon the button placed on the handle being pressed, SCP-XXXX will produce a field of chronostasis in a roughly 1-foot radius of the wearer, fit to the shape and position of the individual at the moment of activation. Apparently the device only requires enough power to launch this chronostasis, or at least has an infinite power supply, as the field itself will only deactivate when time itself becomes unstable in the area around the wearer. (The 05 council has specifically asked that SCP-XXXX not be taken apart for analyzation, so the specifics of it's function are unfortunately something of a mystery.)
