Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be held in a standard large creature containment chamber at Site-189. The object is to be supplied with 1 Class-D personnel each day at 3:00pm. Once the Class-D personnel is fed from, the subject is to be returned to their cell, unless required otherwise. Experiments involving SCP-XXXX require approval from Dr. Richards.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a creature that strongly resembles a deep sea angler fish. This creature is capable of swimming through the air as if it is within water and, likewise, does not require water to breathe. The creature is sized at 3m in diameter and is missing its usual mouth. Instead, in the location where the lure is, a small toothless mouth is located. This mouth attaches to its prey, sticking on to the creature's skull and causing the prey to become unconscious. After approximately 5 minutes, the creature will detach from the subject, bringing them back to conscience. Subjects report feeling no negativity after this process, however this seems to not be a cognitohazard, as subjects are capable of becoming displeased or frightened instantaneously afterwards. The creature also seems to not "feed" on prey after this process for approximately 16 hours.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be stored inside a standard wooden knife block within a containment locker accessible to Level 3+ personnel only. Item is to be maintained after each use.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a standard stainless steel chef's knife measuring 23cm in length and 3cm in width. When the knife is used to cut through an object, the inside of the object sliced will appear to be a cake. This cake varies in type, but is mostly consistent when cutting similar materials. The cake is safe for consumption and is otherwise unanomalous. After being sliced, the object will completely contain cake, no matter what tool is used to slice the object further. The outside layer of the object, however, will remain the same as the original object.

SCP-XXXX - THE ARTIFACT

Special Containment Procedures: Any instances of SCP-XXXX are to be removed and the user who posted the instance to have their location tracked. Low level amnestics are to be applied to any users who view the instance if possible. A copy of SCP-XXXX is to be stored on a digital hard drive in a standard containment locker, requiring at least Level 3 access. Any personnel who have viewed SCP-XXXX are to have psychological testing.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an online video with cognitohazardous properties. This video is usually edited on to the end of other non-anomalous videos, mostly internet memes, as an attempt to trick the viewer into watching it. The video consists of what seems to be a clip from an unknown episode of the children's television show Spongebob Squarepants, consisting of two grey anchovy characters both dressed in a grey trench coat, white t-shirt, black necktie and a grey fedora, stood behind a wooden desk with a map spread on top. The camera cuts to a closeup of both of the character's faces as they both proceed to say "The Artifact" in a low whisper. After this line, the screen suddenly cuts to an image of the character Squidward Tentacles and Spongebob Squarepants with a surprised face, as a low frequency hum proceeds to play. The time this stays on seems to vary instance to instance, but usually it stays for at least 10 seconds before the video ends or replays.

The hum seems to induce extreme fear into anyone listening, usually causing the listener to scream in terror and beg for it to stop. However, the listener also seems to be incapable of fleeing no matter how much fear they are in. As soon as the noise ends, the listener will be able to flee and will stay in extreme fear until calmed.
